Amethyst mushrooms (Elaeomyxa Cerifera) by John Robinson
This was posted on the inside of the women's bathroom. There wasn't one posted in the men's bathroom, according to bio guy. Nothing has changed in society since my mother told me this shit decades ago.
Uuuuuuugh this song is so good 💞
After 6-Year Battle, Florida Couple Wins The Right To Plant Veggies In Front Yard
Okra. Bell peppers. Cherry tomatoes. Jalapeños and squash.
Those are some of the vegetables that Hermine Ricketts and her husband, Tom Carroll, planted in front of their home in Miami Shores, Fla., on Monday.
That’s the day a Florida law went into effect that nullifies local bans on vegetable gardens at residential properties. It was one of those ordinances that had forced the couple to uproot a garden that Ricketts had tended for 17 years.

Sweet victory!!!
Whale researchers working off the coast of Alaska. The drone tracks the whales. The crossbow is loaded with a devices that collects a tissue sample from the whale and then drops in the water. The bolt floats and is then collected with the sample.
Got home after work.
Got drunk.
Picked up fallen branches and sticks in my yard.
Took a picture of my first garden flower of the season.
My Saturday nights are fucking wild.

Also, I got a new phone and haven't been on here in about 20,000 years.
Working on losing my winter fatness, actually reading a book for once, and anxiously awaiting the re-re-emergence of spring after it was like 45 for 1.5 months straight, and now it's been fucking snowing for 48 hours.
Sup with y'all?
This just came up on my internet radio.
Ugh, the absolute most relaxed moment of my life. Bonnaroo, 2008. This song at sunset with giant smoke rings floating over the crowd from the people with the giant smoke ring maker.
I was 100% sober, but if I had some weed at that moment in my life, I think I might just have floated off with those smoke rings.
I've been listening to this album for nearly 20 years, and I only just noticed today that this song is Beatles as fuck.
The first major film documentary of the life and art of entertainer Sammy Davis Jr.
Growing up, I didn't know anything about Sammy Davis Jr. other than he was an entertainer that my parents grew up loving.
This episode is a great visual education of who he was, what incredible talent he was born with, and what he had to endure. I really highly recommend it.
I think I have had some bouts of SAD this winter. In Fairbanks, when it was super cold (-20 to -40F) I would get extra cranky. Otherwise, I'd be fine.
This winter I've been frequently un-motivated at work and home to accomplish chores, I've been extra tired and relying on energy drinks just to get through the work day, and I straight up cried and wanted to stay in bed all day yesterday for no reason. I've also been really reclusive at work.
I don't know how much of that has to do with post-quake mental stress, but I haven't had these symptoms before.
I finally requested a free home inspection from the city to make sure the house we're renting is ok. Some cracks have gotten worse, and Bio guy said there is weird creaking all the time. Definitely for a week or so after the main quake, there was loud banging in the bedroom and it scared the ever-loving shit out of me. My crawlspace is way too claustrophobic for me to get into and do a thorough look-around. So, hopefully having a professional go through everything will ease my mind.
Relevant question.
MIKA BAR SKIT ON SNL WHAT. Oh man, I love that album.
Also, my fucking man Gary Clark Jr. fucking KILLING IT.
If you are at a concert, get there early to claim the front row center seat of the balcony, and just sit there and scroll through shit on your phone...you are the actual worst.
I am 100% done with aftershocks
Our house seems to look ok? I found zero cracks, it looks level, and all I could find was 2 small spots where tile grout broke off at an edge tile.
Aftershocks came strongly and frequently the day & night of. I slept maybe 2.5 hours? The 2 nights after have been relatively quiet and mild, and I slept great.
Tonight I have been hearing a few loud bangs, like someone dropped a log on the garage roof. Like, is there a hidden sinkhole? Are they just annoying bang earthquakes? Either way, no sleep for me tonight.
I have to work so it's not like I can just calm down and sleep later today. Fuck, man. My nerves are so shot.
