Maybe unpopular opinion. My biggest pet peeve is seeing fanart of Caleb Widogast, who is canonically 33, drawn to look like he's a haggard 50 year old. Like, come on. I know a lot of the younglings think that once you hit 30 you're “ancient”, but do they know any 30 somethings? And seeing how Fjord is similar in age I still don't know why 33 year old Caleb is always the only one portrayed as like the token old guy of the group. I'm not talking just “oh he's a dirty hobo who's been weathered” look either. He's drawn with wrinkles and gaunt bone structure like youd use to denote a middle aged man. Hell, some of these depictions make Caleb look older than any of the real people in the cast of CR! Doesn't make me feel great as a (as if a few days ago) 32 year old fan in this community who definitely didn't immediately get wrinkles and age spots the moment I hit 30. It feels like a lot of fans hear “this is Caleb, he's 33” and immediately associate him as “the old guy.”

The Himbo energy of Marisha and Travis, close enough to the DM to be like first and second mate to keep the others in line.

The Danger Zone of Marisha’s arms and Liam’s face.

And BFFs Sam and Liam right next to each other, and somehow both of them are able to exude “proud momma” energy when the other is doing anything.

And it didn’t strike me until this morning, that we haven’t seen them sitting all together at the same table in this arrangement since before the pandemic.

Matt and Marisha: sitting down and having a fireside chat on stream while said fire fills their house with smoke. earning them a phone call from dad travis who tell them to stop what they’re doing and make sure their house doesn’t burn down.
