You could try Taggart either, thats usually based in and around Strathclyde. But I think youre being too vague, Scotland has a big area with multiple dialects. Glasgow sounds different to Dundee for example. Anything specific youre looking for?

I wasn't being specific at the time, I was just looking in general. Decided on Inverness, though, which is apparently more heavily Gaelic than I originally wanted (the character's just difficult, which characters aren't -falls over-). He's also from the 14-1500s so specification was hard to make.

The psych and history you’d need to really read, but Beowulf can be cheated! If the text is killing you, reading something like sparknotes on it should give you the key points of relevance & discussion.

I've actually got an advantage on Beowulf, since we did it senior year, which was only a couple of years ago. I really just wanted to skim it because legit all I remember is the end xD but yeah I might just sparknotes it depending on whether or not I feel up for it.

I could also probably get away with skipping the psych reading too, since it's all about biology and we covered a lot of that during genetics, but let's face it, of the three readings, that's probably the one I'm most jazzed about.
