Yesterday evening, a bird got stuck in a hole in the fence. This fence has been up forever and that's never happened before! :0

I helped it get out of the fence (very carefully) and then held it as it recovered. After a minute, it flew off. :3

It was very cool to help it!!! I love birds and it felt magical to see one up close. But it also felt really rewarding to save it and watch it fly away!

I got a mini fan from a garage sale! :D

I put the fan on a shelf and aim it towards my laptop when I use it! That way my laptop doesn't overheat as bad haha

But the problem is that this fan is pretty loud. And it kinda scares me.....

Just thinking about turning it on makes me feel really stressed!! I have to really work up the courage to use it. :(

I have the kind of autism where any sort of loud household electronic freaks me out.

It's really difficult to use these things or even be near them because I feel like they will explode.

But luckily this fan isn't as loud as some other scary things (like a vacuum or a blender)!! It's definitely louder than a normal fan though.

Btw ear defenders don't help with this specific problem. It's because even if I can't hear the loud noise... I still feel like it's gonna explode.

More baby chicks at my place :)

This morning I heard little peep peep peep sounds coming from the chicken coop.... And BOOM there are 2 new baby chicks!!!!

The mom is still trying to hatch more babies so let's wish her luck :D

She hatched about 7 chicks!

However one of them is injured and I'm not sure if he'll make it. He has a bruise on his knee and he can't keep up with the others.

I'd love to take the injured one inside and try to help him! Unfortunately, due to my health, that's just not possible. :(
