And just like that, her light of hope was suddenly being snuffed out.Â
Oh, I’m such a fool. I can’t be free!
It’s like everything was slowly spiraling out of control, out of her grasp- one minute she was free, she was fine, then the next? She’d destroyed everything, and for what!? What reason had she, to act the way she did?
None that she knew of. Nothing made sense.Â
Rockman took a step back, and she could feel the agony of a heavily throbbing heart. Her world was spinning, and as if she didn’t already feel nauseous enough, now she couldn’t even go see Netto?
No escape from the storm inside of me..!
There it was. The power withing her, swirling beneath her skin like ice in her veins. She felt it at her palms, under her fingertips, begging to escape and strike- to destroy.Â
Can’t control the curse!
Rockman grabbed at her helmet, her shoulders hunched as she desperately slipped her hands down, grabbing at navy-blue locks of hair spiked out under her helmet at the back. Her emerald gaze shut tight, and her breath was shortening.
If she were human, she would’ve been on the verge of a panic attack. No- she had to keep it together though, just in case she had to run.
Still, anxiety was pricking at her skin, and the power beneath was not helping her cause.Â
There’s so much fear..!
The Netpolice were after her, Dark Rockman was after her, now Enzan-.. Would that mean Blues, too? She couldn’t hurt them- she couldn’t let Netto get hurt either.Â
What if she did suddenly turn, again? What if Dark Rockman had a point to all his rambling, all his taunting- his words, dripping with malice and amusement because maybe, just maybe, he knew what he was talking about?Â
A chunk of ice dropping in the pit of her gut- spreading through her veins. "No!"Â she exclaimed without even realizing it had slipped past her lips. The ground around her rumbled, cracking in pixelized fractals that floated around her aimlessly and soundlessly amongst the roar of pure dark energy that surged from the crevices that formed- shooting up like angry flames that danced around for a victim to consume.
Then they shot outward- destroying anything nearby before disappearing into thin air like nothing had happened.
Rockman’s eyes widened, tears pricking at the edges.
