It's been quite the hiatus...
After having a professional crisis due to undiagnosed ADHD and shutting down this art business, then pursuing an Associates Degree in Science Laboratory Technology, then moving to New Mexico to get a job in Biomedical Research, and now finally having the two-bedroom apartment I've always wanted so that I could actually have a STUDIO SPACE, I am now *finally* in the process of bringing myself back to art.

I was at CoastCon 43 this past weekend as an invited guest, doing panels and demos about special effects materials! My table was set up as an interactive museum of examples. Great fun! I will be back next year 😁

I'm transferring my website from a Shopify Webstore to a WordPress Professional Site. Apart from the fact that this will now cost 2/3 less per month, my website will now be mostly be a personal art & tutorials blog.
I will still sell items online, but they will be posted via an outside e-commerce provider like Etsy.

WIP prototype for a decor item that will become a regular offering in my webstore - Anima Wardens! It will be a variety of wolves at first, but foxes and other animals are planned.
To the side are more WIP pictures of this prototype so you can see how it is constructed. There will be a rigid backing added with a fixture to easily hang from a hook or nail, and each animal's neck will be framed by faux plants. The intention is art, not simply imitation taxidermy.
Stay tuned for more updates and the finalized prototype!
Open-mouthed variants are planned for the future, but for now I am only doing closed mouths to keep labor cost (and therefore price) down. Also planned: a portion of profits from these will be periodically donated to various reputable conservation/rescue/research charities.
