My 2018. . . so far, has been a year of paperwork, negotiations and far too many nights drinking coffee. Oh, but my loud and annoying neighbor finally moved out earlier this month. So, overall, it’s pretty good. Anyway, how’s yours been?
Region Bagnes, Valais, Switzerland
Hey everyone! Erika’s back with another blog because self-control is a myth. Anyways, this is my APH Switzerland blog and I’d really appreciate it if you would like / reblog this so I can check you out! Thank you in advance and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Together with his friend Cuno Amiet introduced Giovanni Giacometti Post-Impressionism to the Swiss art scene. He mostly painted Landscapes and Portrais in the post-impressionist style, but also made symbolistic paintings.

…You think so?
I must say I’m rather glad that I am making visible improvement then, and in so short of an amount of time! I did not want to make any mistakes on a gift that was for you so I took extra care when knitting it!
I do not know if the scarf is warm enough for it, but skiing sounds like a lovely idea to be doing soon! If need be, you could wear it around while you’re off the slopes and have a warmer one for when you’re on them!
Ah— is that so? [ He breaks eye contact, but he softly smiles at the other’s remark. ] Well, that’s, ah, very kind of you. This must have taken you a while to make.
Yes, that’s a good call. It has been slowly getting colder lately. I don’t mind it, though, especially after this year’s extreme summer.

@neutralite liked this for a starter – !!
I know it is not quite cold enough for one yet, but I’ve made you a scarf for when it does get colder brother! You were in need of a new one were you not?
Oh, I wasn’t expecting this. Thanks. I must say, you have been greatly improving at this knitting thing—this looks great.
I was looking for a new one, yes, especially since I have plans to spend the winter on the mountains. I could visit you as well, and we could go skiing. . . I’ve been wanting to ski again since the spring started.
Such an incredible experience watching this animal enjoying the first sun rays up close!

“Don’t make that face at me,” her voice is a dry, papery thing, but far from delicate. “It won’t be that bad.” Most often, her experimental concoctions are not tested on Sebastian of all people, but he’s here and will suffer or take joy from her choices.
“Vegetarian is more of a thing, nowadays, eh? More options. Better shopping. Not that I’d give up meat completely, but the waiting after meat is painful.”
"You know, when you invited me for lunch a few days back, I expected something more... extravagant.”
He gives her a snide look. Not that he cares much for lavishness. He just presumes such for someone like Anneliese. “Anyway, lucky for you, I’m not a picky eater. I don’t eat much meat either.”
