Nevada stood in the kitchen, adding ingredients to the pan and watching her latest creation come together. A satisfied smile crossed her face as the delicious aroma began to fill her apartment. She had taken the day off to relax, confident in her manager’s ability to handle things without her. She stirred the ingredients together once again before stretching her neck to the side with a slight pop. She had been super tense lately, mostly due to the stress that came with running her own business. She released a small sigh. She knew exactly what would help. Unfortunately, it seemed that Blake still wasn’t ready to take their relationship to that level of intimacy quite yet. While it was a little frustrating at times, Nevada was okay with it. She didn’t want to rush her girlfriend into something she wasnt ready for.
The Latina smiled as she thought of her gorgeous girl. They hadn’t seen a lot of each other as of lately thanks to conflicting schedules, and quite frankly, she missed the other woman. A sudden crash startled Nevada from her thoughts and vegetables flew everywhere as her arm jerked away from the pan, bringing the spoon and a great deal of the ingedients with it. The chef sprinted across the kitchen and pressed her back against the wall, waiting for her intruder to make their appearance. Like hell she was going to let some asshole bust into her home and act like they owned the place. She was about to open a serious can of whoop ass on someone. She suddenly heard a familiar voice ring throughout the apartment and her body immediately relaxed. She walked towards the door and eyed it and her girlfriend questioningly. Blake stood there with a guilty look on her face. The Latina raised and eyebrow, glancing at the door and back at her girlfriend. “Ever heard of a thing called a doorknob?” She asked with a sly grin.
