On the subject of outdated memes, I’ve crawled back up from the depths of hell, that is, I’ve been thinking about rinrei and I hope you are, too. After skimming over my unfinished fics, I realized I don’t like how I approached the characters and how I wrote some things (hah no surprise). I feel like I had a warped view of how a m/m friendship to romance should work out, and how male characters think and feel and act, everything was just really full of shitty yaoi tropes and racist stereotypes best unlearned and forgotten. Of course I enjoyed writing the way I did at the time, and I don’t regret it, I think I’m hilarious still, but as I grow and learn, I feel like my fics should reflect that. So I will continue some fics but give up on others (for the foreseeable future). Here’s the list!

Anyway, I was super fired up by the Free! movie and disappointed in my current (lack of) fandom, so I’ll be back to finishing up my fanart and fics that I put on hold for over 2 years even though no one cares anymore.
