In an effort to be on top of things and be accountable, I've collected all of the zines (including doujinshi, fanbooks, coloring books) I made by myself over the years and took a photo, plus added 3 ideas for future zines I want to make!
We have a umm... random large zine with my original artwork and comics and rantings and ravings, 2 RinRei fanart zines (one of which is a comic collection), a coloring book of my favorite Tales of character artwork, the book zine I made at the library workshop, a zine about Vietnamese food also done at the library workshop, and my latest, the gyaru fashion zine.
Zines I want to make include a Transformers fanart or photo collage zine, a text zine about the fun pharmacy facts I've learned, and a useful "fight da powaa" zine that will mostly be text but maybe 1 or 2 illustrations.
Some other zines ideas I just thought of... a recipe zine, a plant zine and of course, another fashion zine because I'm a fashionista.
I think I'm going to focus on the "fight da powaa" zine first for August/September, then Transformers for September, then pharmacy for October (because there will be relevant events in those months).
For now I decided to not sell these zines or make them available online because I don't want to go to prison. But idk, if I'm in prison, I won't have to go to work. But I am not rich so I will likely go to the bad prison and have to do slave labor. Anyway, catch me in real life if you want my future zines! Hope we both don't end up in prison!

Today I took off work (though they still had me on the schedule) to go to a lawyer appointment for my estate.
Then I listed a bunch of things online for my estate sale but still have so more to go, went to the library to support public institutions, then bought groceries (no fresh lettuce though because we live in a third world country lol) and cooked for tomorrow's lunch in the oven to kill the parasites and you know, made my house hotter.
What I really needed to do was go to the dry cleaner and shoe repair shop. And mow the yard, paint the garage door and clean the inside of the garage. But it was over 105 degrees so I went home as soon as I could and did not go back outside. As deserved!
I'm going to do some tidying and organize my papers and at least attempt to throw out a tiny portion the accumulated junk that I said I was going to use for my cosplay but haven't yet... But maybe I'll play the summer fest in Genshin, although I heard it was kind of hard so maybe not, I skipped a large portion of the events because I never progressed in the game.
Wait, I forgot, I am being driven mad by the cricket that lives in my bedroom walls. This cricket has tormented me for years. Do crickets live that long? Well, this one has a descendant who is sworn to torture me. Not even the white noise machine drowns it out.

garage/estate sale online - everything must go
I'm in the slow process of listing everything in my house I can possibly part with for sale online on various sites - ebay, mercari, etsy, lace market. A bunch of decent items have already sold within the past several months of me doing this, I've apparently took in $800 just from reselling old stuff I don't want in the past year from ebay and mercari although shipping and processing fees took out a bunch of that profit lol so I didn't actually make that much. I feel like I've made some progress with the projects and long-term plans I wanted to achieve this year, but I'm not getting a lot of feedback or interaction in general (not just on social media btw, this algorithm web 2.0 is terrible and I know that). I understand everyone has a lot on their mind like survival, and I'm lucky I have family and close friends who support me in other ways. But the hopeful plans I've made for the next few years are looking grim!
Oh well, it could be worse. At least... I can breathe through my nose? You never know how valuable your health is until you don't have it.
The past 2 nights I was trying to work on projects that were easy wins and while I did get some cleaning done, and one or two useful things sewn, while also practicing crochet for another project, the top I was working on turned out terrible. The fabric was already linty and gross feeling, and the fit was too bad to fix, and I didn't successfully finish the edges. Basically I wasted almost 2 hours on a failure. But I can still wear it at home as pajamas maybe.
Well, nothing is a true waste of time, as long as you learn what not to do next time.
Completed, turning the backside of two waist ties from my Rose Palace Bustier dress into a complete set of matching accessories using a tutorial from a zine I was in (sorta). Check out the complete zine review and more on how I turned these waist ties into a much better headdress than what Meta already had lol, plus cute wrist cuffs and a rosette and a random bow.
Please take a look at my sewing projects. My vision feels like it's getting worse year by year even though the optometrist hasn't felt the need to upgrade my prescription, because it's already at the highest strength, my glasses literally can't get any thicker. I'm legally blind without my glasses, ever since I was a child. I genuinely think I don't have many years of sewing left... So I'm trying to enjoy the remaining time I do have with my eyesight.

I am going for the highest possible price obviously, because one, I'm a crafter and therefore two, I'm not going to lower the so-called market price by selling something handmade for fast fashion prices causing distress to other crafters who actually need this income to survive their abusive families or worsening chronic illness or whatever.
But on the other hand... global warming exists, temperatures are rising every year due to pollution, heat waves are killing dozens if not hundreds of people not to mention plants and animals affected, soon there won't be a winter to wear sweaters. My mom's creations will just be an artifact of a past when white flaky stuff fell from the sky and the firestar would not show itself for days. This sweater would be priceless, in the fact that it would serve no purpose.

I'm trying to decide what to focus on posting if I leave my current webhosting service and move to neocities or something like that to avoid AI (why hasn't the bubble burst yet?!), but have less storage space and freedom. I think eventually I'll pay for more storage space and post whatever I want that abides by the host's term of service, but obviously I want to focus on what people would like to see uploaded and archived first and get that locked down.
I'm thinking a portfolio of my favorite and best artwork and fanart and sewing/crafting. Then tutorials? It's very annoying to manually update a website so no short life updates.
