while the dsmp fascinates me, i haven't watched any of it and currently have no plans to watch any of it, though it will show up from time to time because the art is awesome

i hate the minecraft world border. why is it just a boring blue force field when the farlands is RIGHT THERE. imagine if the bounding box of ur minecraft world were unfathomable geometric anomalies that just protrude out of the ground... cmon..
imagine if they went up wayy up. not full build height but maybe above the cloud line. remember how the nether used to be on old console editions? surrounded on all sides by giant bedrock walls? think that but in the overworld. itd really make the world feel like a actual sand box........
Hi @signs-of-spring! I wrote you a fic for @mcyt-winter-of-mf - it's S4 poly Eclipse Fed feat. lady!Zam. I had a ton of fun working on it, you had some great prompts - I hope you like it!

Zam comes out to Subz and Vitalasy on accident, and she doesn't know why. There’s just so much going on: she betrayed her old teammates, she nearly perma-died, Mapicc and Ro are still hunting her, she’s dating someone, she’s maybe dating two someones, and - why now? Like, was the girl thing a mistake?
Well, no.
alright my long awaited mianite is a time loop theory has arrived,,,,AND my furia is jordan hc?? can i call it a headcanon?? idc . canon is mine now so jordan is furia
everything is under the read more line because this is LONG
Alr so the overarching idea of this theory is that mianite as a Universe is a time loop. There’s really no simple way to explain this lol so be patient with me LMAO when i say the ‘universe’ is a time loop i really just mean that every world they go to is part of a time loop. I made a lovely diagram two years ago that you can see right here thank you ms paint for helping me with that im so sorry the numbers are hard to read
So lets say that there are 9 worlds within the mianite universe. If we start in world one, we move to world two, then world three, and so on and so forth until we hit world nine. But from W1 to W9, so much has happened that these people are just not the same as they were when the loop started, so it’s kind of like a spiral actually. It just keeps going and going and going. And the interesting thing about this is that we see the gods in every world. Each world has its own version of the gods with their own rules and government and power system etc. s1 dianite is not the same as s2 dianite. They exist separately, but will never meet. The interesting thing. About this. Again. Is that the champions aren’t exclusive to every world. Sure, yes, there is an alter ego for the champions in some worlds (did isles have alter egos?? I cant remember), but if my memory serves me, isles didn’t have alters which means that there is at least One world where the champions don’t exist. To make things more interesting, people always know who the gods are, but the same cannot be said for the champions. In s2, the names of the deities were brought up and the people of ruxomar were like yeah dude we know them but you guys?? No clue who you are?? So it just kind of makes sense to me that the rules of each of the worlds are like . The gods are purposefully placed in a world with the intention of governing it and they are universally recognized .
This theory . well if the universe is a time loop, then the champions are always moving from one world to the next, but they’re always going to end up in their original world after a certain amount of time. So they’re always going to change, but they’re always going to be the same?? Their souls and their hearts are the same but their minds and their bodies are Different. Since the universe is a time loop, it doesnt matter where they go, they’re always going to find their way Home . to their original world . because thats where they BELONG that’s where they started that’s where they’re written into the planet’s soul. But this is not to say that different versions of the champions exist at the same time. I mean, we Do have alter egos, but we also have different beings entirely.
This whole thing of course brings into question the cycle of the god’s mortalities and how consistent their alignment is . but let’s say for the sake of this example that mianite is always good, ianite is always the balance, and dianite is always evil. Akin to what we see in season one. World one. Whatever.
So now you might be wondering “ollie this is so confusing already i don’t see how furia could even tie into this at all” well Do Not worry because i’m here to answer that question.
Also i think it’s worth noting that no one can say for certain which world jordan originates from. Because its clearly not world 1 where the rest of the champions are from . so he’s an enigma . BUT lets say that in like. World 3, (or isles if you want to call it that because technically it Is the third world), dianite finally gets his foot in the door with jordan and doesnt Quite get him as a follower or devoted servant or anything that he had originally planned (i want you on my team i will get you on my team 😍 i remember you fondly)...but finds himself signing a contract with jordan. a contract that jordan does not read .
So dianite has his foot in the door and the contract is signed and forgotten about and blah blah isles ends in a dumpster fire event etc etc etc and then the champions find themselves in a new world,,,and over the course of their stay there,,,jordan can feel something in him Shifting . now i want you to take a very close look at these screenshots okay . the first two are the first draft of dianite’s contract with jordan and the third is the final draft - the one that was given to him and that he signed.
Final draft:
Yeah this is all fun and games until you focus on the “I promise to not undermine Dianite.” like okay girl if there’s One thing you shouldnt be worried abt from jordan its his astonishing sense of loyalty !! so i think it’s interesting that that was included but also the “I promise to not become a agent of evil.” is also so interesting when you think about the fact that this was presented to jordan By Dianite, who was, in fact, evil. Even in isles you cannot say that he had pure intention 100% of the time and it’s reasonable to say that his sense of good and evil is very. Skewed.
So jordan signs this contract. And now, this god…who has been enamored with his sister’s only truly loyal follower from Day One, who has nothing but the utmost respect for him,,,has the Promise that jordan will not undermine him. That he will Not become an agent of evil, which, in dianite’s eyes, could be as simple as allying with mianite. Or, being a follower of ianite. Because she’s the one who gave him that role of chaos and evil in the first place, and dianite is furious with her.
So in this world, jordan feels himself start to change. And suddenly, as more time passes, he finds himself Becoming something he didn’t know was possible. He finds himself Losing his identity as a champion, shedding it like skin in favor of something More.
Because not only would dianite relish the victory of having jordan on his side at long last but he would absolutely. ABSOLUTELY. Make him the closest thing to a god that he could.
Surely this won’t backfire !! surely dianite does not intend to make him a weapon to defeat the person he both despises and envies the most!
As jordan continues as ianite’s champion, he gradually loses himself until he is so unrecognizable that he is no longer Jordan. Over the course of many worlds, he becomes a monster. That dianite intends to use as a weapon.
So really who can stop me from saying that once dianite gets his hands on jordan he doesn’t let jordan just,,,be his follower. He doesn’t let jordan be something divine,,,something absolutely positively dastardly evil. Tom turned into mecha dianite. So who’s stopping jordan from becoming the One person that was closer to dianite than tom was.
Who is going to stop dianite from turning jordan into a weapon to use against ianite. To defend his temple. To protect the tomb of ianite’s heart???? From the champions. From Jordan.
The universe….the champions only exist in One world at a time, but furia is More than that. And because jordan is Not from world one, how can we be so sure that this is the original version of him? The version that we see in mianite could be a different jordan entirely. So when we run into season one again, and the champions live their lives in season one. It’s the same. Except our beloved champion of ianite has become the right hand man to Dianite.
But at the end of s1 we see . in a truly tragic turn of events. Furia turns his back on dianite to become the new god of chaos. But he cannot . he . signed that contract . he can’t undermine dianite . and he ends up being killed by the champions.
AND it’s no secret that furia transcends worlds. We see him in urulu in s2 where spirit dianite is talking to the dragon. And JORDAN is the first to notice him. I simply do not care that it was only an NPC with furia’s skin, IT’S CANON TO ME.
Now stick w me for a second . in season one, furia is jordan from the past. He signs the contract in W3, but doesn’t make his debut until W1. in season two, furia is jordan from the future . because he doesn’t sign the contract until W3. and season 1 is the reset point. Because its a Time Loop.
Jordan leaves his original world, he leaves his past self behind in pursuit of something more,,,and the future hasn’t happened yet . and the past happened . he just didn’t know that’s who he was going to become.
He appears in season two,,,he recognizes himself,,,a version of himself that he saw in the past. Someone he has yet to become. FURTHERMORE. If jordan is not from world one, what version of him is there? Where does he come into play? Well i’ll tell you . season one’s jordan is furia. Because he doesn’t belong there. but furia does. that’s the world’s version of jordan and jordan himself is. an outlier.
i love being delusional because i know for a fact that when furia's character was created the writers threw shit at the wall to see what would stick because hes literally the stereotype hench men like its so obvious that no thought was put into him when he was created right . but whatever. Jordan starts the cycle in s1 when dianite sees him and insists he has to have him not realizing that furia, the jordan that Belongs To Him, is what jordan will become after years and years of him going after jordan .
the fact that jordan created ianite in season one is enough to tell anyone that he doesnt belong to that world hes From somewhere else but how did he GET there . how does he get to world 1 where did he come from where did he go where did he come from cotton eye joe
its entirely possible that jordan isnt even From the time loop itself he couldve been from somewhere else entirely,,,,he washes up on the beach the gods fight over him he creates his own god and has so much power over the universe that he writes her into every world's history,,,,its a time loop… but the champions are unrecognized objects against the power of world historian so wherever they end up is up to the loop itself but they'll always return home...
they'll always be what they once were no matter how much they change...and even if they Die,,,,even if jordan becomes furia and dies he'll still always live because hes always furia and hes always jordan i know this makes NO sense and i sound insane but xoxox
There's something to be said about how lifestealers like choose two different opposing personality types and combine them to make themselves. But only really lean into one at a time. And when you just look at one you get a full character and it seems impossible that the other could be true and you just wait in this weird limbo where it's like they could go back to being who they are or they could just exist like this forever, and both are true and yet it's not proven to be true until it happens or its over.
could expand about others probably but im mostly just thinking about Clown being a silly little guy and a murder villain and how he is most certainly both and you can't just say he's one or the other.
but rn on the realm he is just a silly little guy. how could he ever be the villain.
and yet as a creator clown is going down this interesting route of being less murder villain, playing nice with people and not taking their dragon egg (that one video from forever ago when this shift started happening) and he embodies this protector role so much more now, making it look like this is all he is.
and yet you still have that evil within that gets let out only when the situation allows for a little chaos and it's appropriate. like the karl 100 player video. doing some silly little trust building to get people to walk into portals just to die to lava on the other side just for fun. just to see if he can.
Or playing nice for the mace and murdering players immediately. He is and always will be both sides together.
Or Pangi being the innocent therapist and the passionate fighter.
Or Spoke being a troller and world ender.
Or Mapicc being honorable while also being the first to exploit/cheat/bend the rules.
Or Zam being defender and mass murderer.
Or Rek being wholesome and an instant betrayer because its lifesteal
Or 4c being pure innocence and the mastermind
Or Jumper being the troller and the betrayer
Maybe it's just simply that they're all capable and very forward about their good and innocent and goofy sides.
But that they are equally fully capable of indulging the evil within. And that evil is such a particular thing that is unique to them that will come out at a particular time.
and they choose when to be either. And they back up the villainy with periods of genuine innocence and whimsy to the point where you forget that they have done anything wrong ever. and it becomes easy to defend their wrongs. at it becomes exciting to wait for them to do something crazy. and it's fun to watch them be silly in the meantime.
they keep up this extremely active tension of "when will this all fall apart"; it's fun to keep watching because at any moment they could return to how they have been.
and yet this is also this active tension of growth, "maybe i don't want to be like that anymore". and who they will become is just as interesting as who they have been. (ok maybe just a little less fun. i miss gayjoker)
constantly held in tension. two extremes. today is today and yet tomorrow has all the potential.
