Since I'm obsessed with Frollo and recently I finished Disco Elysium, I could not help myself but write about Frollo's death and what was waiting for him after it. Enjoy, I guess? I learned quite quickly that we all love to see this asshole suffering.

Frollo raised his sword above his head. His eyes burned with hellfire, his hair blew in the wind like thousands of sharp horns trying to tear through the veil of clouds, his voice sounded like thunder threatening to strike anyone in its path. Every part of his body was under the influence of the devil of his own creation, so that everything around him, even nature itself, was drowned in silence, and only the crackling of the fire that enveloped the entire area below accompanied his mad cry.
"And He shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit!”
There was too much rage and madness in him, so much so that everything he touched became just as sinful, just as depraved, doomed to eternal torment. The solid stone, previously set so that neither rain, wind, nor any other element could move it for at least several hundred years, cracked under the judge's sinful madness.
Frollo's body, which, due to the weight of his deeds, was heavier than any stone, any rock or mountain, fell down. A most repulsive cry, full of agony and pain, came from his throat when the tongues of flame suddenly engulfed him and covered him tightly with their heat. The skin peeled off his body, leaving only a skeleton and a scream that echoed from all the statues and gargoyles of Notre Dame - his chief judges, who had seen the beginning of his fall twenty years ago.
And then there was silence. The flames burned with black fire, but soon they too went out. Sin had left these lands, leaving behind only the grey ashes that judge Claude Frollo had once been. Even the wind did not carry it away. It was doomed to be trampled underfoot and hooves with mud, remaining forever in front of the place of his last judgement on Earth.
Frollo continued to scream. Or perhaps it was his mind, his soul, screaming. Maybe he couldn't even open his mouth. He couldn't say a word because he no longer had the right to speak. He had already said everything, shown everything. He had shown that even the flames of hell could not burn away all his sins, even if he burned for eternity. He was not worthy of any circle of hell; no punishment could compare to the things he had done. He had to remain in the abyss. Everywhere. And nowhere. Listening to his own incessant screaming, unable to cover his ears or stop screaming. He could not go mad, could not think. Only scream. And scream. And scream... There was no end, no beginning. And he had nothing left in any of the worlds.
“Look at yourself,” came a hoarse voice from the darkness. Or maybe it was him speaking? The voice seemed painfully familiar, painfully unpleasant, wrong, foreign... But it was his voice. Even though he wasn't speaking. But he wasn't screaming anymore either. He was just nowhere and never. In the midst of silence and a terrifying hum. “Look. At. Me.”
His eyes opened on their own, even though he tried not to open them. He didn't want to look at what was in front of him, even though the voice sounded everywhere, or maybe only in his head. Or maybe all of this was happening only in his head. But it was not a dream or a nightmare. It was something more terrible, more terrifying than the flames that had melted his body.
It was him. His dead body with half his face missing and skin hanging from his cheek, with blood dripping down. Around his neck, which seemed about to tear away from his head, was a thick rope, almost ingrown into his skin. The rope stretched upwards and was so long that it seemed to be attached to the void. It was completely unclear whether the corpse was dressed or not. It was covered only with some black fabric that looked too much like burnt skin.
It was him. Dead and sinful, unworthy of purification and forgiveness.
“How do you like it, Frollo?” said the corpse with its mouth closed. Its dead, colourless eyes stared at him, studying him, urging him to look down, to check if he looked the same, if he was hanging in front of the mirror, hanged by a rope in some abyss. “It is you. You have always looked like this. And you always will.” The body swayed slowly from side to side under its own weight. "And everyone has seen and will see you only like this. Rotten on the outside and inside. This is your end and your beginning. Now only this will be all you will ever see. Feel. Know. Only. This.” The body fell silent. Frollo tried to shake his head, to scream that it had never been like this and never would be, but he couldn't. Maybe he really was just a body without any sign of life or soul. Just a shell, inside which there had never been anything anyway. “LOOK. AT. YOURSELF.”
The body screamed and began to sway more violently from side to side, as if buffeted by a strong wind, as if trying to reach Frollo. As if it wanted to grab him, take him away to wherever that might be. Drag him into an even deeper abyss...
Frollo looked down. The body stopped swaying. The ringing in his ears stopped. There was such silence that if he could, he would have started screaming again to fill it. But he realised that screaming was useless. He was already in the deepest abyss, and the corpse could not drag him anywhere. This place was meant for him.
He saw his hands. His torso. His legs. He was completely naked, standing before the devil in his true form. The form of a man, which he hardly was, now even he himself began to doubt. The devil was playing with him. He was playing with himself. He was the embodiment of everything sinful in the world.
There was nothing more terrible than the creature he had become in life.
“I am you,” said the devil and Frollo at the same time. Dead eyes stared at him, and in them Frollo saw a familiar emptiness. The corpse's head straightened, and its face contorted into a crooked smile. Dark slimy liquid flowed from the gaping mouth and mixed with blood. "That is right. You are all the evil that exists in all worlds. You are all the darkness that can destroy any light. You are nobody. And that is your greatest sin. You are not worthy of being anyone. You are nothing. Never. Darker than any darkness. More sinful than any sin,” the devil spoke, and it was unclear whether he was impressed or disappointed. But most likely, he felt nothing.
He did not know what pity or mercy was, did not know what impression or disappointment was. He and Frollo became one. A single nothing, a pitiful embodiment of all sins.
Frollo felt his own body begin to swing. He hung in the air and could no longer lift his eyes. Not a single part of his body obeyed him anymore. He could only look at his now rotten body and watch as it continued to slowly decay.
Frollo knew there was no one else in this abyss. Even the devil himself had decided to leave him.
Just a little animation WIP of my current project which I hopefully (probably never) going to finish. Greg is a little bastard and makes me suffer a lot. Mycroft is much more cooperative. Well, at least for now.

A little (quite light) hurt and no comfort for those who kinda like Mystrade.
The quiet, rhythmic ticking of the clock was the only sound in the room. It was maddening because it never stopped, and each movement of the clock hand seemed to be accompanied by a louder and much longer sound. This, of course, was all just an illusion, for a clock that had been working properly for years could not just start malfunctioning at this exact moment.
But his heart could. Though it was more likely just nerves, which made him nauseous most of the day, and every movement was accompanied by such pain that any sound, not to mention the sounds that other people made, put him in real agony.
But now it really was something else. Every day he simply had to accept the fact that his body was wearing out and could no longer return to its former state, and worst of all, even his mind was gradually slowing down and could no longer be put to such debilitating use.
And it was all the obvious aging that came to anyone sooner or later. And the stress that came as a bonus to his work made him strain his limited nerves because it seemed like the world was rolling in a completely uncontrollable direction.
But this was something new. Perhaps it really was the heart. He'd been among those who had a risk of getting a stroke for years now, but this felt different. Hopeless. Pressurising. Making him wonder - why was he doing all this? Why would he waste his energy and get nothing but health problems in return? But on the other hand, he couldn't rot without brain activity either. Perhaps it was all really quite pointless, but at least he wasn't letting himself mentally die before his time.
Talking to Sherlock had always had an effect on him. And even though his younger brother was being unnecessarily kind to him now, Mycroft knew that somehow that feeling was not due to his brother's kindness.
Gregory was behind all of this. And though Mycroft had long denied it, preferring to store his unexplored feelings in a shelf far away so that they would become dusty and cobwebby and he would forget about them, the shelf was never far away, always in his sight and often wiped clean when he needed to see if they were feelings at all.
But they definitely were feelings. Only now he really wanted to put them far away so that even his mind could forget about them. But such things could not be forgotten so easily.
Now Mycroft felt as if someone had grabbed his feelings, crumpled them up, ripped them to shreds, burned them, and threw the remains into the deep ocean. But the memory of those feelings remained as if forcibly pounded into his head.
Gregory married a man today. Few weeks ago he had sent Holmes an invitation to his wedding, but Mycroft had come to terms with it then. Until this day. Until the moment when it had really happened and there was no turning back. He cursed himself for not acting and for not being able to accept it, because, so he thought, when there was no hope of getting the same feelings back, then he could finally devote himself fully to his work, couldn't he? Needless to say, he couldn't. He was already too old to get over the avalanche of feelings that no other man in the world could bestow upon him. And now that man was lost. As was Mycroft himself, holding his phone with shaky hands, all alone after a brief call with Sherlock. "He said yes to him," those words were crushing him from inside.
The clock kept ticking. He had no escape from the pain and realisation. Time didn't heal. It was mercilessly killing him, reminding him that there wasn't much left until the end and he had already lost everything.
