I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I got to where I am today—and I wanted to share a little piece of my story.
I’ve always been the kind of person who feels best when my hands are busy. Over the years I’ve worked hard in different jobs—landscaping, retail, caregiving, transportation—and each one taught me something. Grit. Patience. Strength. How to keep going even on the long days.
But one thing that never left me was my creativity.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that making things wasn’t just a hobby for me—it’s how I take care of people. It’s how I bring comfort. It’s how I turn everyday life into something a little warmer and more meaningful.
That’s how Handmade Designs by Shannon LLC was born.
Everything I make comes from real life—what we all need more of:
