Born outside of Paris to a Marie and Alejandro Amor, Azul grew up well-loved and cherished. Her parents had tried for a long time to have a baby, and when they finally held their miracle child in their arms, she brought a light into their lives. To top it all off, the girl was born under a blue moon. Her parents believed she was blessed by the heavens, and named her after the cosmic occurrence. Although Azul was an only child, she was not the spoiled sorts, who cry and pitch a fit whenever they donât get their way. In fact, she was a gracious, sweet child, who grew in grace and beauty, growing up to look as beautiful and kindhearted as her parents. Sadly, when Azul turned eighteen, her parents decided that they were no longer in love with each other, and filed for divorce. Azul was heartbroken, and worried that she would have to choose between her parents. However, Mr. and Mrs. Amor remained close, and continued to encourage and support their little blue moon girl in all that she aimed for.
Acting was Azulâs true calling. At first, though they supported her acting in school, her parents were wary about her making it her career. They often said to her: âyou are so smart, take your talents into the medical field, or become a lawyer. Actors donât make a lot of money, how will you ever support yourself?â but they soon changed their tune when she started acting on a larger scale. She became well loved throughout university and her hometown, and soon found herself an agent. Azulâs career flourished, and soon she was traveling all around to perform with big name actors and directors. While Azul was cool and confident on the stage, she was quite shy out of character. Some had even to labeling her as standoffish due to interviews where she avoided talking about her personal life, and rarely giving interviews to begin with. But soon enough, she was well loved for her lively performances, instantly taken to being called the mediaâs sweetheart. She was loved in all English, Spanish, and French speaking countries as she was fluent in all three languages, and as she continued with her career, she became slightly better at speaking in interviews and on the red carpet and such, though she still kept her life beyond the lights guarded like a secret. She was well aware of how the media and reporters liked to twist things.
On her last tour, Azul Luna (she had dropped Amor at the suggestion of her agent), stopped in Neverland. She never intended to stay long, but the girl fell in love with the city with the island charm. She took to performing in low budget plays, bringing attention to the run down theatre in the center of Neverland. People rallied together and got the theatre back to its original, charming state, and soon the place was buzzing after every performance.
The darkness of the music of the nightâŚ
Azul plans on staying on the island for a year before retiring to her Parisian home. Since she came to Neverland, the rest of the world seemingly quit watching her, and getting out of the public eye is exactly what Azul wants.
