Hi! I've decided to make a Nevermoor confessions blog! Submit any confessions about the series, the fandom, or whatever else here.

Normally i don't mind being 30+ in a middle-grade book fandom but man, sometimes i am REALLY AWARE that I am from a different era of fandom. Trying to explain "don't like, don't read" feels like pulling teeth.

Something that bugs me sometimes is that some members of Unit 919 (excluding Hawthorne, Morrigan, and Cadence - the main three) get more book time compared to others. Like it makes sense in a way, because oftentimes certain members are used to further advance the plot, but that also means we know a lot about one member and virtually nothing about another. Someone like Arch could use more fleshing out, that's for sure.

I rly like silverborn but I feel like the book basically forgot about the events of hollowpox apart from the apprenticeship. In hollowpox, Morrigan was obsessed with sub 9 and saving Sophia from the hollowpox, but in silverborn it’s barely mentioned. I liked silverborn but I think a lot of stuff was missing

One of the reasons I love Nevermoor so much is that it makes me feel validated in my own trauma.

I never actually finished hollowpox. I just forgot and haven’t gotten back to it. I have like a whole chapter and a bit left

proshipping makes me uncomfortable but I think people have the right to post about it as long as they tag and censor accordingly (which as far as I am aware people are doing right now)

People have decided morrigan can do no wrong,and any time someone suggest she can people go silly.

This fandom is sleeping on how traumatized most wundrous society members have to be. I've noted Morrigan already displays several symptoms of PTSD, (arguably C-PTSD) including nearly having full on flashbacks on several occasions. I do think (or, at least hope) that there will be a time when Morrigan's trauma is focused on. I don't think it's impossible given what Jess has done before.

I accidentally started the series on the second book so when i read the first sentence i thought jupiter was like- twelve for an embarrassingly long time

I have...complicated feelings about Silverborn. I really enjoyed some parts, but it felt really rushed. Sofia was such a huge part of the last book and HER NAME IS NOT IN SILVERBORN. It makes me want to explode.

i wish that i had the found family mog does which doesnt even make sense bc my family is great but something about it just makes my heart sing
