reasons i am passionate about drukkari (druig x makkari) - beware of eternals spoilers!

my favorite tropes all in one: lively ray of sunshine x grouch, partners in crime/ troublemakers, sarcastic duo, friends to lovers, best friends AND lovers

the chemistry: need i explain this

power couple who complement each other, he's the brains and she's the brawn

he's soft for her and her only like have you seen him let his guard down/smile as much around the other eternals

druig being able to verbally translate makkari's signing so effortlessly (iirc he's the only one to do that in the movie as well)

he can read minds according to the comics and if it stands in the mcu then it means he can hear her thoughts without having to sign and this is some serious soulmate type shit

only time makkari ever speaks verbally is when druig is in danger

makkari punching the shit out of ikaris for hurting druig
