Backstory stuff below

Lillard was born and raised in the Kalos region, growing up watching their father train with his Pokemon to become the champion of the Kalos region (and save it from destruction). When they were twelve, they moved to the Alola region, where they began their own journey as a Pokemon trainer just like their father, eventually becoming the champion of the Alola region. Once they reached nineteen years old, ready to move out, they decided to move back to the Kalos region, hoping to escape the tropical heat of Alola that kept making them overheat and pass out (ehlers danlos syndrome) , only to get wrapped up in yet another save the world adventure, finishing what their father stared

Definitely bending canon a little timeline wise but whatever

Their backstory is loosely based on my own experiences playing Pokémon alongside my dad and my experiences as someone with hsd
