I had a lot of fun putting together those quick little icons a while ago, so I decided to make some Icon YCHs (Your Character Here)! These are all 750 x 750.

$10 each, and only one slot for every icon. I can do OCs or canon characters, as long as some sort of reference is provided! I can also make minor line edits to these.

@/chasingthunderrp is run by a non-indigenous mod team who have only changed a couple of overtly racist aspects of their Wild West themed warrior cats rp, while doubling down and refusing to change the rest of the rp, including the villainous gang literally being named the red claw gang

they’re only responding to the “nice” messages and ignoring ones that don’t coddle them through telling them their rp is inherently racist on concept and that they, as non-indigenous people, shouldn’t be running an rp based in this setting. I know this because I know myself and others have sent them messages about it, only to be ignored. instead, they’ve chosen to post about “threatening” messages without responding them and claiming they feel attacked over being called out on their racism

the red claw gang they claim is named for having bloody claws, and they have doubled down openly on keeping the name, despite being told that it is very close to a real anti-indigenous slur. they claim they consult with indigenous people for this rp and yet offer no evidence for this, nor do they have any actual indigenous people on their mod team. also, in terms of the elements they have already changed, they all should’ve known better. two of those mods are grown ass adults who should 100% know better

this rp is ignorant and poorly researched at best, and racist at worst. please don’t support chasing thunder rp by joining them or promoting them. they only care about changing things when they’re being coddled, and if you aren’t perfectly nice to them they’ll ignore you or claim they’re being threatened. if this mod team truly cared about the opinions of indigenous people, they would’ve ditched the historical fiction Wild West theme and the racist villains and they would’ve just set the rp in the desert with a vague theme because it’s literally that easy

if you want evidence, just scroll through their blog. if anybody wants to add onto this post with more evidence, please do so, I will reblog it to spread awareness

Hey.

So, we are sure that a lot of you saw this post, as did the mod team.

What we want to say is that any asks we didn’t publish were only done so because they were phrased incredibly rudely, but the content was taken into consideration by us. We actively worked to improve what we could and invited people to tell us what’s wrong - that’s not to say we changed everything that might be potentially hurtful, which we are aware of. However, it’s difficult to improve things when no one ever took us up on the offer to have a conversation with us - we said multiple times that any of our dms are open, even for any burner accounts if people want to stay anonymous.

We are aware that native issues aren’t ours to speak about; we made sure to not create any native inspired lore from the start, and we now do see the issue some people had with the Red Claw Gang. We didn’t take it seriously enough the first time and we know that now - for that we want to apologize.

But we also want to say that none of the potential issues within our lore were put there with malicious intent, contrary to what the OP of this post seems to believe. We are all adults, but even adults can’t know everything. We know better now.

In the wake of this, we think it best to close Chasing Thunder RP for good. Along with that, we want to apologize to anyone we may have hurt with offensive content within our lore. We know we didn’t take the best approach to things, but we will try to be better in the future.

I’m sorry but this changes nothing. Google is free. If you wanted to learn how what you were making could be harmful, you should have done your research on the setting you were making when the first person came forward with concerns. Do not make excuses. Do your research and do it right. Don’t rely on strangers on the internet to educate you. Educate yourself.
