@taylorswift hi sister! amanda here😇 quick update on my life: I’ve been working as a CNA for one year and I absolutely love it!! everyone I work with is so sweet and the patients seem to really love me!! I’ve already touched so many lives and it’s the most rewarding feeling to know you put a smile on someone’s face when they’re healing. thank you taylor for giving me the strength to keep going when days are tough or when I can’t seem to shake off the stressful things in life (see what I did there?!) So I recently applied to nursing school and I just found out I GOT IN!! I’ll be starting this fall and it can’t come soon enough! I’m so anxious to start because nursing has always been something I’ve wanted to do, and knowing that I’ll be fufulling my dream makes it even more rewarding. thanks for always having my back, know I’ll always have yours♥️

my facility started to admit covid-19 patients who are in need of rehab and I’ve been assigned to work with them. my anxiety is through the roof and I cannot breathe in these masks but I’m holding together and I know I can get through this! we don’t have all of the necessary equipment (no booties and nothing to cover my hair) but we’re working with what we have at the moment. I wanna thank you @taylorswift for giving me the strength to push through these hard times, and thank you for giving me songs to jam to on my way to work to ease the anxiety. I love you so so much❤️

another thing to add: I still live with my family and going home after each shift scares not only me but the rest of my family. I take all the necessary precautions at work to not bring it home but anything can happen, since I’m working directly with the covid-19 patients. I wish there was a place for me to go to protect my family from this but unfortunately hotels are too expensive to stay in, and no one knows when this is gonna end. As of right now I’m staying in my basement but I still come in contact with my family and I wish there was some way to put all of us at ease. I know no one can do anything about this but if anyone has tips or words of wisdom to give me I’d greatly appreciate it💗
