  —Principles—

- Contrast- Between the off bland white and the vibrant multicoloured section.

- Emphasis- Negative space surrounded by vibrant eye-catching colours brings emphasis to the title and lion.

-Movement- Arms trailing behind of creature moving forward implying the creature is running. 

-Balance- Creature leaning forward with arms outstretched backwards on tops of toes slightly off balance yet still balanced.

—Elements—

-Value- Colour variety between the blending of complementary colours (Orange/Blue) creating an interesting blend of colours.

-Space- Very organic feel, no harsh straight horizontal or vertical lines. 

-Texture- The off-white hand-made paper feel for the background compliments the bold burst of mixed colours in the center of the page.

-Colour- Hand-made off-white paper look makes it more interesting than if ivory white paper was used. Vibrant complementary colours add an intriguing difference from the warm background. 

- Shape- Use of negative space “cut-out” feel.
