Ok SO. What happened at the concert..

Just to clear that up. I was literally 10ft from Sara when it happened and it was heart breaking. Here is what went down.

Sara sat down to read the story about when she threw the chair at Trevor. Everyone is quiet and attentive and she began to read “only fa**ots get aids” and that’s all she could say before she was interrupted by the heckler, yelling “yeah!!” And laughing loudly.

She paused and looked up and said “are you mature to handle this conversation?” They replied with “oh yeah, this is my middle school dream” but in a very condescending way. Sara, in turn, said “turn the house lights on and raise your hand, raise your hand person who said that.”

So they raised their hand, somewhere to the back right corner. Sara said “well I’m really glad you came to the show but now you gotta leave the show.” The audience cheered her on and they were escorted out. Sara sat down again and said “we have to remember that this story actually happened to a 16 year old- the language might make you uncomfortable but you have to try to be mature.”

She began to read again, but her voice was cracking and wavering. She didn’t get very far before she said “sorry guys I need a minute” and left the stage to cry. She came back about a minute or two later, sat down and tried to read again. That time, she got further in the story but her voice wavered again and began to cry. She turned to Tegan, who had been quietly sitting at the piano the entire time, and said “Tegan, please?”

Tegan came running in, took the book and said “I’m so excited to play this asshole.” Sara sat down at the piano and was handed a box of tissues by one of their techs. Afterwards, they both sat at the piano and played “Call it off”, at which point I started to cry ugly tears.

That’s what happened at the Royal Oak show, 10/17/19.

Wow, just wow. That’s disgusting - I’m glad she was thrown out by Sara. Poor thing, I would have been really upset too. These shows are so raw for them, it’s takes a lot of courage to do what they are doing and they don’t need some asshole fan disrespecting the process like that.

LA, SF & Minneapolis Shows

Going to all three of these Tegan and Sara shows! Somehow I managed to get two row A and one row B. Though it costed a crazy amount of money. I have never seen T&S tickets for over $200 off the MAIN site and not through reselling for the front rows. Suckage but still worth it.

Trying to find a song

There is a song from years ago that I have no idea what the title is or the lyrics but the whole premise is a butch liking a femme, something about taking off her stockings, I know they have sex in the song. Does anyone out there know what song this could possibly refer to? It’s been driving me crazy!
