A New Covenant Student Ministry

These past three days have been so memorable. I had the opportunity to visit Chicago with all of the youth leaders at my church. We attended a youth ministry seminar and visited the largest church I’ve ever seen in my life, Willow Creek. To see how a church with more senior high youth than the amount of kids that went to my high school runs was breath taking and awesome. My eyes have been completely widened to the possibilities and potential that my church could have. In one weekend we have all been changed for the better and through us, God will be able to do greater things.

Psalm 23

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Psalm 23

This verse has always been one of my favorites. Any time I'm afraid I think of my favorite part, "I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me", and I know that God has got my back.
