It might help if you got that whole chatting with yourself thing sorted out though.” For the first time, she cracked the mildest smirk at her own quip but it disappeared quickly as she stored her schedule inside her bag. “There wasn’t a mention of a roommate on my schedule. But judging by the ‘3′ starting on my dormitory number, I’m guessing I’m on the third floor.”
“Trust me--I’ve been trying.” Adrian mused with a sigh, chuckling at the other. “Charming and fiery. What a winning combination.” No roommate? Lucky. “Enjoy the solitude while you can, they always match up roommates as quickly as they can.” He stuck his hands in his pockets. “Well, if you want, I can show you to your dorm. Or you can wonder aimlessly through the halls, your choice.” But he started down a hallway regardless. “My name’s Adrian, by the way. Since you--you know--never asked.”
