It definitely has a little. When I first started writing Billy, there were certain parts of his personality that I wasn’t too sure about but interacting with you and alanthedinosaurman helped me figure those little things out pretty fast~ c:

She’s been watching him with an eyebrow cocked, wondering what the hell he was doing. “–Could be worse.”

He glances at her, letting his fingers fall from the tie. “Yeah? How do you figure that?”

“Alright.” Billy tries for another smile, the action coming off as a bit forced. His mind is still full of all the images of death and brutality; it’s hard to smile when you keep seeing flashes of those who have been killed before your eyes. “Lead the way. I trust you.”

And he does. Trust Will, that is.

Murder was a difficult thing to deal with. Even for those that got into Law and knew what to expect. Nothing ever really left you. And Will didn’t have to be an empath to know that it was still heavily affecting Billy. Instead of frowning though, he grinned at the other. If he could just help to make Billy feel even a little bit better it would be well…better than nothing.

“Come on,” Will said, gently grabbing Billy’s arm and leading him away to the bar.

He doesn’t say anything, choosing instead to keep quiet and let Will lead him to the bar. It feels natural to let himself be led, to just lean a little towards Will and let the other man show him the way. There’s a tiredness aching beneath the surface of Billy’s chest and he’s hoping that maybe a couple of beers are what he needs to lift that ache.

“Is this going on your tab or mine?”

He smiles at the suggestion, giving Alan’s hand a light squeeze. “That sounds perfect to me. When can we leave? I’m a little hungry, too. I’ll make some dinner when we get home.”

Alan looked at his watch. “Not like it’s a long walk to home,” he teased. He tugged Billy closer. “Think that tiny shower can fit us both?”

Instinctively Billy leans against Alan, a slow smirk quirking at the corners of his mouth. “I think we can make it work for us.” He turns his head, nudging his nose lightly to Alan’s jaw for a brief second, then leans back again.
