"D-dad?" Amanda sniffled, the hand holding her phone shaking as she bit down on her lip. She had waited way too long to tell him... but she couldn't help it.
Hearing Amanda cry was one of Vinny’s worst fears, “Hey Panda… are you alright? What’s wrong? Do you need me to come over with pie?” he began tapping his fingers on the desk that he sat at. All of the worst thoughts came into his head as soon as she said that. Drugs? Car accident? He didn’t know, but he was terrified.
“Just.. don’t get a ticket.. i know you when you want to cut time.” she mused, sniffling. “I’ll let my RA know..”
“Alright. I’m on my way.” he said. They finished their goodbyes and Vinny ran to the car. He left the driveway and began speeding over, despite Amanda’s suggestion.

“I mean.. it’s not even my fault its the stupid birth control failing..” she wiped her face on her arm as she hugged her knees close. “I’m… i’m pregnant.”
A sigh of relief escaped him, “I honestly expected a lot worse.” he laughed nervously, “It’s alright that the birth control failed, we have had worse happen.” he paused for a moment, “Are you planning on keeping it? I’m here to support you either way.”
“I’m.. two months along..i kind of..i don’t want to get rid of them.. that would be unfair to them.” she sniffled a bit. “Dad… i know it’s a long way…but could you come here?”
“Yeah, I can do that.” he smiled softly, thinking about the fact that he will be a granddad, “I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

Business was sort of on the slow side that afternoon, but it gave Aiyetoro the chance to work on a new set of bath bombs he had thought up. He sat at the desk which he also used as a register, a tray of items laid out before him as he pulled on his gloves and looked through the molds he had, debating on a design for them when he heard the chime for the door and looked up with a smile. “Welcome, just let me know if you need any help or if you have any questions.” he said before going back to picking out a mold, putting the rest back before he began to pack the mixture he made into it, putting a few flower petals in as well.
"Thank you!" he smiled. Looking over at the desk, he noticed the bath bombs, "Are those the uh- i'm gonna get the name wrong- bath bombs? Those things girls always talk about on tumblr?"

Damien tries his best to unfold the now wet thin map but it simply rips and is even more unusable. Damien sighs and looks to Vinny "So, what shall we do now? We're cold, wet and now without a map."
Vinny thought for a moment, “I would say that boy scouts helped me, but I was in girl scouts…” he sighed, “I think that the best thing to do would to probably find shelter. This area has a lot of caves, right? We can hang in one of those until the rain passes.”
“A..cave?…Well i suppose it is better than catching a cold in the rain. Let get walking, the faster we find one, the better.” He says before beginning to walk in a randomly selected direction. Thunder sounds off and Damien just in shock.
Vinny grabbed his hand instinctively and began walking. Soon enough, he found a cave and dragged Damien inside. When they got in, he leaned against a wall and sighed, “Thank God we aren’t in the rain anymore.” he shivered.
Damien sighed too, taking off his jacket to use it to dry his hair a bit. Damien then paced around, thinking of how they were going to get back to his car when the rain clears but then..he steps on a panel and it triggers the back wall of the cave to move to the side revealing a stone staircase. “What in the…” he gets his flashlight and shines it down the long, steep staircase.
Vinny jumped at the sound of the wall moving, he turned over to Damien to make sure he was alright, “I- uh-” with the back wall opening, the entrance to the cave closed behind them, “Well shit…” he sighed. He banged on the door of the cave, but it did not open, “Seems like our only option is to go down.” he said.
“Are you..sure that’s a good idea?” Damien asks, again looking down at the ominous stairs. Dim torch light could be seen at the bottom but soon faded away in a fashion that made it look like someone was holding it then walked away with it. Strange.
He shrugged, “There’s no way out… Might as well go further in?” Vinny looked down the stairs, nothing immediately caught his eye to make him nervous.
Damien silently gulped and nodded “O-Okay…” and slowly he went down the stairs, careful not to step on any other panels that might ultimately get them killed. He kept shining his flashlight down to see where he was going.
Soon enough they reached the bottom of the stairs. Before they could look back, they heard a slam and jumped. Turning around, the door had closed behind them, “Well if we weren’t fucked before, we definitely are now.”
“..Most definitely.” He says, shaking and obviously scared. He begins to walk down the next hall theb they come to a fork in the hall. “Now, I have seen many horror movies. So, the first course of action is to never split up. Vinny, do stay by my side at all times, please, so we do not get separated.” He grabs Vinny’s hand and goes…right.
Then they see another fork, right. Right, left, straight, right….left. “Are…Are we in a maze?!” Damien finally comes to realize.
Vinny held on tightly to Damien’s hand. They turned many corners and took many paths. He sighed at the realization, “I- I think we are…”
Damien muttered a quiet swear word, “..I suppose we are too far in now. Lets…just keep going.” He again began walking and walking and walking for what seemed like hours. Then..they come to an exit. Damien sees a bright light and shadows.
Further down the exit black figures with cloaks and bloodied hands, chanting above a young womans body, can be seen. Damien gasps in shock and fear and disbelief. They turn to him.
Vinny was speechless as soon as he noticed. He turned back to Damien, not a word coming from his mouth. He took a second look at what was going on in front of him. He had no idea what to say.
After a few seconds Damien just grabbed Vinny’s wrist and ran in the other direction, he didn’t have time to try and remember which way they came. This was a life or death situation. So he just ran and whichever way was more convenient.
Vinny followed him, mostly because he had no other choice. He heard footsteps coming behind them, getting louder as they approached the two. He looked back once, stumbling slightly. He slowed down as he stumbled, soon realizing that they were surrounded.
The persons did indeed surround them. The were approaching them, a few of them with a rugged, sharp dagger in hand. Damien thinks of the first thing he can do and as hard as he can throws his flash light at one of their heads, knocking them unconscious. He grabs the dagger and then Vinny’s hand, again running. This time finding another exit to the maze though not what they were looking for.
It was a long corridor hall way with many doors, some of them open others not.
He breathed heavily as they slowed down, glancing at the several doors in front of them. He leaned against a wall and sat down for a moment, wheezing, “Well, we’re fucked dude.” He took one more moment to look at the doors, “D'ya think there’s like a symbolism with the marks on the doors?” he asked, “Like- certain symbols could lead us certain ways.” he crossed his legs to relax a little. The sound of the footsteps had stopped. They were alone.
Damien walks to look at one of the doors. It..strangely had a symbol on it that looks exactly like Roberts tattoo. “Perhaps..Vinny come look at this.” He says, confused, a bit scared. Was the man he was previously been dating..apart of this. If they-no. When they got out of here Damien was going to look into this quite a bit.
Vinny squinted slightly, looking from afar. He soon got up and got closer, "...Doesn't Robert have a tattoo of this...?" he murmured, trying to pull together his thoughts.
