ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero
And while the plantās production is still in its early days, its launch has had a considerable effect on Finlandās energy prices,Ā lowering the electricity spot price in the country from ā¬245.98 per megawatt-hour (MWh) in December to ā¬60.55 per MWh in April, a reduction of more than 75 percent, according to physical electricity exchange, Nord Pool.
ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero
Since then prices for power in Finland have continued to plunge as the efficiency of the plant flooded the grid with 'new' energy.
So much in fact that early on Wednesday of last week, the market price for electricity dropped below zero cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) and for hours after that the price was only 0.3 cents per kWh at its highest, according to the country's grid operator, Fingrid.
Iām as confused as he is
So with the current technology, you can't sustain fusion without fission...
But the monopoly on thorium is irrelevant.. everybody has plenty enough to meet their needs...
If they develop the technology....
Guess who is leading that charge?
My family Mines-and Hauls coal!!! šŗšøš
What do you meme now?
Might want to invest in making fusion reactors because the uranium supply isnāt that big.
Thorium
We have an almost infinite cycle of breeder reactors that thrive off nuclear waste, we can make it happen, the reason itās not done is agenda. BigĀ āgreen energyā lobbies pay politicians very well to block cheap energy.
Politicians and climate change believers will happily rape the land to fill them with huge fans and useless plastic panels because theyāre āscaredā of nuclear all thanks to that one time the soviets purposely detonated a reactor to kill more Ukrainians.
Hey, theyāre also afraid because one time a hurricane ook down one nuclear plant in Japan that killed almost nobody
Spent fuel isn't waste, it has over 90% of it's reactive potential intact.... If technology would move to a liquid fuel cycle then the reprocessing could be done online, without any reactor outage..
And we are still talking about uranium... Not to mention that you can use thorium to blanket the reactor and breed your own fuel...
you're telling me this reactor is breedable?
great news everyone
