It’s scary out there, decided to throw together this little kit to keep in my truck console.
Turn out gear representing every single firefighter lost on 9/11. If that doesn’t hit the feels then idk what does.

I got a new baby today. What should I name him?
My human nature wants to tell you that’s a cactus.
My Arizonan spirit says Kevin.
How do you know it's a him ? I look at that and see a Sharon ?
I wanna take your class. Where you located tho
I’m in the UK
I had no idea you were in the UK. Been following you for a while now. I'm in South Wales. You got some cool stuff going on!
NASA Security at work.
This might be the coolest job
NASA had a MP5 that they fired like 100k+ rounds through.
I would take that MP5 to the moon and shoot it. Just to see what would happen.
If i recall correctly Mythbusters found that firearms can be discharged in a vacuum.
If you fired a weapon in space, would it ever stop ? I don't think so...
If you could go anywhere in the world right now would it be to a “where” or to a “who”?
I was not prepared for this question

Medevac crew chief Octavio “Chad” Orozco, 25, catches his breath (and his thoughts) after struggling to keep two seriously wounded American soldiers alive on the flight to Kandahar Airfield, in southern Afghanistan. Orozco performed chest compressions for much of the flight.
This photo was taken on November 22, 2010 in Kandahar City, Kandahar, AF, using a Canon EOS 5D Mark II by jeromestarkey.
Curator’s Choice, NOV 2010: A heavy load to carry.
[Sharing this again because someone lacking brain cells thought it would be awesome to strip the caption and photo credits off when reblogging this. The photographer, as well as the medevac crew and the wounded, deserve better. -R]
Just wanted to add this:
"Despite numerous instances of heroic courage, no PJ has ever won the Medal of Honor. That’s a fact. No PJ ever will. That’s folklore, but thus far it’s stood the test of time. The basic measuring stick for the nation’s highest military honor is heroism above and beyond the call of duty. As PJs explain it to the properly awed who’ve read chronicles of their exploits, there is no assignment, no action, they can take that is above and beyond their call of duty." - Hirsh, Michael in Pararescue: The True Story of an Incredible Rescue at Sea and the Heroes Who Pulled It Off.

I've read the comments above and I don't mean this to be negative. What so ever. I don't know about the allocation of medals but my opinion on what's above only is...that's the job they join to do and should I be lucky enough to be in their situation I wouldn't want a medal either. I've inky had to do CPR once and seeing that person off in the ambulance was the most rewarding thing. Something a medal wouldn't match. I don't mean to cause anyone any disrespect.
