Lil Peep - Benz Truck (prod. by Smokeasac) May the stars in heaven shine on his restful soul ~ November 15, 2017, Lil Peep, born Gustav Elijah Åhr died at age 21 of a Fentanyl-Xanax overdose on tour in Tucson, Arizona. His 3 year career catapulted him into underground superstardom on account of his several mixtapes & debut album Come Over When Your Sober pt. 1. In a time when the emo-rap acts of Yung Lean, Lil Xan, and Trippie Redd took over radio stations, Lil Peep’s indie-rock cloud style fermented the scene with it’s depressed, lo-fi lyrics & trap flavoured influences. In my opinion, he is as important to emo rap as XXXTENTACÍON is to the alternative genre today. Have you ever had a feeling as if you knew something as going to happen? Well, that’s what Lil Peep’s “Benz Truck” is all about. From it’s start the song plucks a foreboding tune followed by striking set of strings & a crash into some .. just BAD lyrics. But it’s his lively singing that makes it all worth the listening. Trap music isn’t meant to promote a bright lifestyle, but that’s just what Peep does in this song. From his “brand-new bitch” to his “iced-out whip” things seem to even sparkle out against the despondent scene set before us. We’ve had eminence like the likes of Eminem, and Kurt Cobain who seem to fight through the melodic struggles of the instrumentals they preform over but when it comes to Lil Peep, it’s seems as if the tracks —themselves are grunge-full in indifference of him & ergo, his life. He plays the samples with strong and indignant, however lowly, finesse. Still, the 808s hit hard, highlighting the sub-textual inevitable, and bring in the chorus. “Friends switch up when you in a Benz truck (skrrt) Hoes wanna fuck, tell a bitch, “Good luck” Hoes wanna fuck ‘cause I just came up Drugs in my nose, good drugs in my cup” In light of the drug-related deaths of Lil Peep and Fredo Santana, it’s important that the hip-hop communities take part in responsibly managing the habits & mental health of its artists. Depression was obviously not a new thing to Åhr and not was sipping-lean I’m the life of Fredo Santana. It seems at though every single single Peep dropped was a cry for help and it’s a shame no one took the time to help him better manage his health before his overdose. Whether intentional or unintentional, his death has left us behind some of the most impressive music I’ve ever heard from this generations selection of artists. Below is a link to Lil Peep’s Come Over When You’re Sober pt. 1 and repost some of his tracks on SoundCloud in remembrance.
Goodnight Lil Peep. Peace.
Come Over When You’re Sober Pt. 1
Lil Wayne - Dinnertime (prod. by Deezle) WAYNE. SNAPS. I mean, snacks. I mean… feasts? Y’all know what I mean. Here’s a track, previously unreleased, from Tha Carter III Produced by Tha Carter III stunner Deezle, “Dinnertime” is a leftover track from the great Lil Wayne’s 3x Platinum Selling 2008 album. Back then Wayne was on the top of the rap game, dropping hits like “A Milli” & “Got Money” leaving his competitors shook in fear & admiration of his craft. For some reason “Dinnertime” didn’t make the cut but it’s just as good as other not-so-heard tracks like “3 Peat” and “You Ain’t Got Nothing”. Actually almost like a “Dr. Cater” pt. 2, “Dinnertime” featured Wayne eating rappers over a 3-course meal that by the end of it, leaves no one else in its voracious wake. Just as he saved hip-hop in the aforementioned title, Wayne picks apart the beat and devours his meal whole before retiring with his famous one-liner “feed me rappers or feed me beats” which, by the way, solidified him as the best rapper alive back in 2007. He had been taking over ever since; and even over rock-influenced instrumentals like on “Rebirth” he still stands out as one of the best hip-hoppers alive. “Carter get it in order Order me I oughta be an artery ‘Cause I’m a bloody buzzin’ B I’m a beast I at least Should get a piece of that pie Before I die Because I if no one else deserve Now where is my dessert?” This, like his last project, Dedication 6: Reloaded proves he’s still at the top of his game and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down soon. This unreleased track was a treat for us back in July 2017 and while we patiently await Tha Carter V, we’re grateful for the Dedication series and any other singles, features, and/or collabs Wayne drops in the meantime. Soo, I’ve posted a link to Lil Wayne’s latest single “Vizine” below. Repost this & comment YOUR favorite Lil Wayne song in the comments section below :) Thanks.

Wild Thoughts (DJ Khaled Remix) - Tory Lanez ft. Trey Songz prod. by DJ Nasty & L.V.M.
Wild, wild, wild !
Grateful, was I when I heard DJ Khaled's sampling of Carlos Santana's 1999 hit "Maria Maria" on his new track "Wild Thoughts". The collaboration between Rihanna & Bryson give the song and updated 2000s feel with a heavier punch. Still the lyrics provided to the updated classic hold true to the songs original implication. On this Tory Lanez and Trey Songz remix the two exchange verses in a complimentary fashion that deserves a round of applause.
Tory Lanez starts off first; alluding to Rihanna's rendition complimenting a mystery woman on her bedroom theatrics & boastfully bragging about his performance. He laces the track finessing his rap with his natural flash and panache and smoothly slides it home in song.
The brief intermission features Santana's infamous guitar solo and Trigga begins his flow.
As lewd as ever, Trey Songz puts the listener in a trance, creeps up on the track and delivers the most cunning performance to set the mood for the sultry tune. After he finishes his seduction he bodies the remainder of the song with equally bodacious lyrics.
“Let me put my face in your waist Put my taste in your face Choose on trip like your second set of lips Put your juice on my stick, first, let me get a sip”
Shouts out to Khaled for putting this track together and big props to Tory Lanez & Trey Songz for the remix. Looks out for Tory Lanez new album this year & make sure to cop your copy of DJ Khaled's Grateful on iTunes.
Divine Council - Decemba (Remix) ft. $ilk Money, André 3000 prod. by ICYTWAT
The age of information and technology …anything can happen.
It all started when Linc had an idea. $ilk Money, ICYTWAT, Cyrax!, and Lord Linco are the Virginia-based rappers that form the collective “DivineCouncil”. Each has his own backstory of how he got into rapping, but the story is Cyrax! & Lord Linco linked up with $ilk and started from there. Since 2014 they’ve released the majority of their material via Soundcloud as both independent rappers and as a group. ICYTWAT for instance was the latecomer to the gang who joined only after submitting his own work across the internet. While touring the east coast they ran into André 300 whom, impressed, helped them sign a deal with Epic Records. The label released CouncilWorld in August 2016 which is available for digital download here.
Hol’ up .. We said, “impressed André 3000”
Decemba (remix) features $ilk Money sitting rapid fire flows over a heavy bass influenced icy tempo instrumental. The music video features $ilk in a prison getup readying himself for court, which he eventuality holds up hostage and escapes in a getaway car filled with the remaining members of DivineCouncil. The music video parallels with the track in the way that $ilk seems to be rapping as if he’s he’s running from the heavy bass sound booming behind his lyrics. With each tap of the hi hats he pieces his escape until he hits the hook followed up by an incredibly entertaining verse by André 300.
“Than Incredible Hulk in a federal court while the deputy spoke In a flirty tone, dirty songs, she knew ‘em all She let me escape and she threw ‘em off Hit herself in the face and shot through the wall We set up a date and got too involved”
3 Stacks ends the story with a crazed fantasy involving a shootout with the cops while fucking his savior “deputy bitch” in a dead end apartment. He says that he not only shot off his gum but also bust off in his girl; promising a continuance to the story.
Hopefully this isn’t the end of DivineCouncil and we hear more work from them soon.
Deuces.
Kali Uchis - Loner (pord. by Kaleb Stone)
Solitude at it’s best.
Kali Uchis is a 22-year-old Colombian singer hailing from Virginia making her way in the industry after the release of her 9-track EP Por Vida. Kali’s style is like a 60′s pop infusion mixed with high-pitched Amy Winehouse vocals and cliched inflections over light Caribbean-influenced instrumentals. Born and raised in Colombia, her voice sports no accent but rather the sunny overtones of Virginia Beach. She looks like every Gwen Stefani/Lady Gaga/Iggy Azalea imitation that’s come before her, but it’s her chill singing-style marked by her fierce independence that makes her stand out from the rest.
Like she said, she’d rather be a loner.
The track starts off with solitary piano keys followed in by Kali’s vocals setting the tone for the slow-paced ballad that is “Loner”. She starts off by listing things that she does not want to be seen as, identifying herself as separate from the materialistic things that define an industrialized female pop-singer these days. This also sets a standard for the ways she’d like be treated, recognizing that she may not receive it, she’s okay with that, and realizes she may have to live life alone. There is no “at least until” in this story, as she continues her journey she doesn’t even see the things in her path that attempt to solicit her time. And she doesn’t go soliciting other’s attentions either.
Hook:
That’s why I’d rather be a loner Yeah I’d rather be alone I don’t even want to know ya I don’t want to be known Cause I’d rather be a loner I’d much rather be alone Baby it was nice to know ya Packing up and leaving home
Kali has done songs with both Snoop Dogg and Tyler, the Creator both featuring the same singing style & instrumental influences. Both featuring the same subject matter. i like Kali, she’s bright & poppy, and offers a sound we haven’t heard in a while. Plus the chill vibe is exactly whats needed sometimes. I’m hoping to hear more of her in the future.
Check out Kali Uchi’s Por Vida EP on SoundCloud and leave a “Like” below.

XXXTENTACION – Failure Is Not an Option Interlude (prod. King Yosef)
Who THE FUCK is this guy?
XXXTENTACION (X-X-X tentacion) is a Florida rapper coming out of Broward County currently serving time on armed robbery and assault charges in Orange Country. As the story goes, he’s been in trouble all his life dating back to 2006 when his mother kicked him out of the house for getting in trouble in school. From 2012 to the present, he’s been in and out of correctional facilities, which may be the cause for his current obscurity and lesser-known image.
Jahseh Onfroy started making music back in 2013 and has since released six albums and a string of singles, previews and interviews via SoundCloud. From “The Ice Hotel EP” he dropped in 2014, to “Willy Wonka Was a Child Murderer (2016) Tentaicon’s sound has remained pretty consistent; Schizoid rap flows over spacey melodic soundscapes. His style though, does vary from time to time; he raps, sings, and even screams depending on the track. Over the years, as things have gotten worse for X, his instrumentals have become more and more compact, mirroring both his physical environment and presumably, his mental state. Fortunately for us though, the pressures have only helped mold his poetic artistry. He met Ski Mask the Slump God in prison and their collaborations with the Members Only collective helped him develop his hardcore-punk/ grunge sound. His mood-based influence has been noticed by and can be felt in the works of Drake and Lil Uzi Vert.
Failure is Not an Option.
The title almost speaks for itself: XXXTENTACION has been brought up on so many criminal charges that it seems like music is his only way out. The 44-second track opens with a “flat-line” beep tone, followed by a mob of yelling, another flat-lined beep, then immediately– Tentacion yelling over a thrash metal instrumental blaring questions to the listener, screaming out his hurt, and loudly proclaiming his needs to the audience.
“Fuck nigga, what is your rank? Take me to hell, bitch I came I rip the head off the pope I don’t need love, I need dope”
It sounds like he’s almost lost amongst the crowd; his words are almost completely drowned out by the exaggerated screamo effects on his voice. A dark and spooky melody sets the tone for his belligerent and confrontational lyrics. The high-pitched sub-bass fluctuates about your headspace and the kick pounds over your head simulating the feel of being in a mosh-pit. These could be the sounds of prison, gang-life, or rebellion against his mental activity. Whatever the case, we pray for X, his speedy recovery, and his immediate release.
Unfortunately, Bad Vibes Forever (2017) has been put on hold until X is freed. The campaign #FreeX has been gaining popularity across all social media platforms propelled by his diehard fans. With his April 2017 court date quickly approaching we hope that all goes well for him. You can listen to XXXTENTACION’s “Failure Is Not An Option Above” and below are links to his SoundCloud and his mixtapes on DatPiff.Com

6LACK - PRBLMS (prod. by NOVA)
Welcome 6LACK: a Baltimore born R&B/Soul artist coming out of Atlanta.
Ricardo (6LACK) Valentine is an artist signed to both Interscope and LoveRenaissance (LVRN) Records which houses the likes of his contemporaries D.R.A.M. and Raury. LVRN seeks to “serve as an inspiration to any walk of life” and that about sums up the styles of each of its members. 6LACK’s sound is a sort of neo-noir R&B blend of Bryson Tiller with a Frank Ocean / The Weeknd mix. Nothing too new, but it’s smooth enough to make the cut and keep us swathed and enthralled in is his sound.
So far, he’s dropped one full-length solo project “Free 6LACK” on Soundcloud --- an 11-track tape that serves as an account of his personal development as an emerging artist in the industry. His stand out single “PRBLMS” is his most well-known track with over 7 million views YouTube and 10 million hits on Soundcloud. The track dropped back in September 2016 and has been making waves cross the country ever since.
“PRBMLS” delves into the issues of a troubled relationship between 6LACK and another woman who just doesn’t seem to understand that he has bigger issues on his plate.
The track crashes in with a sonic wave that raises the frequency as he raises his voice recalling the fact that he’s been accused of being “A Goddamn Lie”. The steady tempo recounts instances that surmount into the ultimate problems of the relationship. He admits, that because this woman is his, that he acknowledges the fact that he is partially responsible for her behavior and the actions that led up to their inevitable break. But then again, he realizes he’s got bigger issues to deal with.
Hook: “I got real shit to stress about, girl, I ain’t worried about shit / Remember that I tried to build you, now I ain’t worried about shit.”
The track booms with the matters of the relationship. Everything from the blame game & problems stemming from chasing fame & outright laziness and bougie behavior on behalf of this woman. Miscommunication and conflicts of interests seem to be the main problems with this relationship, and in the end it proves to be too much for the up-and-coming artist who inevitably ends up ending the relationship for a new girl who only brings more problems into his world. He stays above it all though; self-medicating, they way we typically hear of other music artists in industry doing to relieve their stresses. It seems to keep him afloat long enough to serve us the product we want from him and his artistry and in the music industry.
I’m looking forward to 6LACK’s development as an artist and to new releases and possible collaborations with bigger artists in the game. LVRN seems to be on the rise with this one and we’re interested in what’s more to come.

French Montana - Max & Chinx/Paid For (prod. by Harry Fraud) ft. Max B & Chinx Drugz
MAC AND CHEESE 4 IS OUT NOW ! RELEASED 11/5/16 !
MAX B COMING HOME EARLY ! RIP CHINX !
French Montana is on his thirteenth mixtape with MC4 and it is nothing short of our expectations. The Coke Boys/Bad Boy signee has been in the game since 2002 releasing mixtape after mixtape coming up from hustling on the hard streets of the South Bronx, New York. The Moroccan born rapper caught wind with his 2010 single “Choppa Choppa Down” from his Coke Boys Tour mixtape and “Shot Caller” from his 2011 mixtape Mister 16: Casino Life. Since then, Montana has started his own Coke Boys record label as well as signing with Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and to Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group in 2012. He released one studio album “Excuse My French” in 2013 that debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and has sold about 170,000 copies to date.
R.I.P. Chinx Drugz, even the instrumental cries for you homie. Fench didn’t come up by himself. The coke wave was a collaboration of hustlers from the South Bronx, most notably Coke Boys: French, Charlie Rock, Cheez, Flip, and the late Chinx Drugz. Chinx whom after branching out and starting his own solo career after the success of the Coke Boys/Cocaine Riot mixtapes, the single “I’m a Coke Boy’ and a couple noteworthy features, was murdered in a drive-by shooting in Jamaica, Queens. May 2015. Since then we have all mourned his loss and the great potential he had as a would-be solo artist.
Another ally to French’s Coke Wave rise is Dipset/Byrdgang’s Max B who has been incarcerated in New Jersey State Prison since 2009 and is serving a reduced 75-year sentence on robbery and murder conspiracy charges. He is expected to be home sometime in the near future and #FreeTheWave hashtags on twitter continually support his release.
These are the grounds under which Montana’s “Max & Chinx/Paid For” comes by. The nine minute track starts off with a recording presumably of Chinx, referring to Montana, “That’s my nigga, man, that’s my bro” and French starting “It’s hard to do that”. The Harry Fraud produced instrumental gets off to a smooth start with a crying vocals in the background before the clap comes i right after French says,
“Nothing worse when you love something death can touch”.
The track progresses on a steady incline recounting the events prior to Chinx death, leading into a transition that features a prison phone call from Charly Wingate (Max B) himself. French begins the second verse with and ode to the BossDon Biggavell whom he notes at the waviest and dawns with memories, prayers, and advice as well as an outlook of life on the outside. The outro of Max & Chinx is a phone called prayer from Max B’s mother praying for guidance and anointment.
“Paid For” is a typical Harry Fraud produced track featuring French Montana singing over the hook which leads into a never heard before verse from Max B’s earlier days. He raps about the fraudulent comings of the rap game, his riches, successes, and the troubles it brings him. #FreeTheWave. Chinx’s verse is just haunting as it starts off, “Look these niggas wishing on a fallen star” and just like Max, delves into the thievery, cutthroat world of trying to come up in the dope game.
“Been a sucker all your life
Yellow gold stones dancin’ off the lights, fuck your life
These niggas ass bent with life, don’t touch the dice
Never felt the fire til you touched it twice
What’s the price?”
-Chinx Drugz
Hopefully Chinx is resting in peace and Max will be home soon. We wish the best to Montana’s prosperity. Mac and Cheese 4 is out now, cop a listen and let me know what you think in the comments below

Tyga ft. Desiigner – Gucci Snakes (prod. Crakwav)
GKHEA ! GKHEA ! DDDDRHAAAAAAH !
G.O.O.D. Music decides to celebrate the signing of their two new artists Desiigner and Tyga with a special release collaboration between the two. Tyga, who was previously signed to Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment and who is still currently under Cash Money as well as his own Last Kings record label, has, since his release, been dropping a stream of releases across the sound waves including his latest album “Hotel California” and two mixtapes: “Fuk Wat They Talkin Bout” and “Rawwest Nigga Alive”.Back in August 2015, Tyga let loose on the world when he released “Stimulated” a track dedicated his long-term girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Desiigner on the other hand has been living it up attending award shows and gaining massive media attention every time he gets excited in the public. The Brooklyn native has also had a string of successful features and released a follow up to his Billboard Chart topping hit “Panda” titled “Timmy Turner” which was graces with a feature from his mentee Kanye West on the remix.
“Diamonds flooded Holy water blessed me like our father Witness my faith, burned believers die, make you a martyr”
Tyga and Desiigner are learning a lot in life at their new home in G.O.O.D. Music. Money, cars, clothes and hoes and the evils that come along with them are the subject matter of this track. New things come aplenty in life and Tyga lays it all out for us to know. Tyga raps the typical subject matter of his high-life lifestyle. Things are opening up for Tyga and he owes it all to the ten bands he just spent at Gucci. lol. Still, you have to keep an open eye around those you trust --or don’t. Respect is expected in his line of work and he works honestly hard to hold it. Everyone’s watching and it’s up to Tyga to keep his numbers up in this new environment. Hopefully...He’s gonna keep spittin’.
Meanwhile Desiigner is in the background, observing, doing what designer does --WILDIN” OUT ! About who’s who, and what’s going on, probably trying to retain all that information while smoking dope and staying slurred off syrup. What a life.
Hopefully we hear more from these two in the future, this collaboration is a banger ! And I hope to hear more from them two soon. Click the link above to listen to Tyga’s “Gucci Snakes” and comment in the comments section down below, I’m Out !
YFN Lucci - Key to the Streets (Remix) [prod. June James] Ft. 2 Chainz, Migos, and Lil’ Wayne
I GOT THE KEYS TO THE STREETS !
YFN Lucci is a Atlanta native signed to TGI Records. This track, “Key To The Streets” follows the success of his recent bangers “Key To The Streets” (ft. Migos, and Trouble) and “YFN” as well as his his two highly noted compilations “Wish Me Well” & “Wish Me Well 2″
"Key To The Streets” is a hood anthem for anyone who’s made it out the hood. Coming up from nothing is a difficult situation from the impoverished neighborhoods like those of Atlanta, from whence YFN reigns. His contemporaries: Trinidad James, Quavo, and Rich Homie Quan can certainly vouch. On the original “Keys” YNF Lucci talks on his troubled street life being trapped in the boundaries of his old neighborhoods and way of life. Loyal to the game and loyal to his squad, Lucci speaks on his achievements in rising out of the trap. He notes on how his drive and work ethic shifted him from the dirt to to being in collaboration with the likes of other well-known artists in the music industry. Migos, on the other hand, brag about their success before finding music and the luxury that it has afforded them. Nevertheless, they too had to come up out of trouble and turmoil of the streets. They too dreamed of a better life outside of the trap; their “keys” to the streets came in the form drug trades and robbery.
“I’m from the dirty, we play dirty All these sticks they dirty We don’t fight, get murdered”
- YFN Lucci
On the remix, 2 Chainz raps about his success and all the luxuries that solidify his as a street nigga from the block.
Lucci raps about his work, and boasts his come up in the game. Making it in the industry isn't easy and YNF Lucci is focused on this one.
WEEZY COMES THROUGH AND COMPLETELY RIPS THE TRACK !. ---in a good way. His zig-zagged flow is almost too much to keep up with, but it’s the same subject matter as his peers: just with a little bit more finessing and a lot more skill.
Overall, “Key to the Streets” is a street anthem for anyone who’s made it out the struggle and is here to celebrate. Wish Me Well 2 is out now, be sure to cop that and let me know what you think about YFN’s “Key to the Streets (Remix)” in the comments below.
Peace.
Tory Lanez - Gunz and Roses (prod. by Matti Free, Xaphoon Jones, Two Inch Punch, Tory Lanez & Play Picasso)
I TOOOOOOOOLD YOU !!! xD xD xD
I TOLD -I TOLD YOU ALL !! See what happens when you work hard? It pays off. After a tragic death in the family, leaving home to live with his grandmother, being kicked out the house as a teen, hustling on the streets of Toronto, and SEVEN years of rap, Tory Lanes has released his debut studio album “I Told You” from Interscope Record not too soon after his last mixtape “The New Toronto”. The album, which is the perfect blend of Tory’s rap-singer style boasts no features but offers production credits from notable producers Benny Blanco & Play Picasso who also helped co-executives produced the album along with Tory Lanes himself. His singles “Say It” and “LUV” made waves across the air waves and had everyone scrambling for the next single released. We were all joyous when on August 19th he decided to drop the full length project that is his #4 Billboard Hot 100 album “I Told You”
If you’re wondering how he’s done it, the track “Guns & Roses” has a lot to say about his creative process. The track (prod. By Play Picasso, Two Inch Punch, Noah Breakfast, Matti Free & Tory Lanez) is a song about Tory serenadeing his muse, whom, we can infer to be pretty difficult to deal with. The song itself, as the title suggests, has like a old western landscape with hi-hats resembling the notorious Travis Scott rodeo-style format.
Tory rides up on his girl offering her sweet sounding falsetto lines in an attempt to glean some inspiration from said woman. He pleased for promise at the bridge but by the time we get to the hook he finds himself defeated.
“She shot me right down, she Shot me right away” x4
Ever persistent, Tory continues this play into the next verse with a bit more of a push of irony, sarcasm, and suggestion. He compares their creative sessions to war which denotes and explains his seemingly brash and and explosive energy that comprises the remaining elements of Tory Lanes sound, something we remember from Meek Mills"Lord Knows" and which can be heard as far back to his “Swavy” (2011) and battle-rap days. The end of the song leave us with Tory begging not to be left alone. We can assume he’s isn’t, as he finds himself alone & wanting another shot.
Click the link above to Listen to Tory Lanez “Guns & Roses” and let me know what you think about the album in the comments down below. — I for one, respect the progression and am amazed by the talent this man managed to put into this project. I fully support the movement and am looking forward to more work by him in the future. For now..
PEACE.
Lil Uzi Vert - Countin’ (prod. Fki) ft. Wiz Khalifa & 2 Chainz
TURN UP! TURN UP ! TURNUP !
NORTH PHILLY NATIVE LIL’ UZI VERT IS FRESH ON THE SCENE AS ONE OF THE NEW EMCEES EMERGING IN THE POST-YOUNG THUG ERA IN WHICH EVERYONE HAS THE SAME STYLE CONCEPT TO THEIR BEATS AND FROM THEIR LOOK TO THEIR SOUND ALMOST SEEMING IRONICALLY IDENTICAL. LIL’ UZI HAS BEEN AROUND FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW DROPPING HYPE-CRAZY INFLUENCED TRACKS REMINISCENT OF An INDUSTRY TURNED CHIEF KEEF VIA SOUNDCLOUD. LOVE IS RAGE DROPPED BACK IN OCTOBER 2015 AND SINCE THEN HE’S BEEN RELEASING TRACKS WITH THE LIKES OF HIS PREDECESSORS...
...(Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug) to make a name for himself in this world of motion picture rappers and celebrity influenced emcees. When “Money Longer” dropped Uzi became a social media sensation and it was at that point that I went back to YouTube to check out some of his earlier shit. It seems like the kids a big anime fan giving no fuck about what anyone or anything other than himself. His swag looks copy and pasted on but it’s okay cuss he’s still cool!..Somehow. The nigga’s just a fun guy to get down with and hopefully he releases more of those turn-up twisted v\music videos that I love. Check out 7AM here.
“Countin” produced by Fki isn’t as hype as some of his louder tracks but it’s definitely still a party banger. Featuring Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz you can’t go wrong with this one. Yearning the big theme of this record. Yearning for this, yearning for that, who knows if he’s ever gonna get it. He says he will though. Paper chasing seems to take a back rail on this one; here it’s more of a pussy hunt. Shorty’s been seen around at a couple functions and Uzi is notoriously the one to chase her. “Charge it to the game I am no beginner”. Mow back to industry talk I was talking on my last review: Uzi’s in the spotlight right now; especially w the release of “P’s & Q’s” got the internet going crazy –everyone’s watching. I’m assuming he’s just gon do his thing and keep it real with everyone while he’s here. Enjoy the spot light lil man; it’s your time to glow.
Lil Uzi Vert vs The World is OUT NOW ! Check out “Countin” above and let me know what you think about Lil Uzi in the comments below

Post Malone – Go Flex (prod. FKi)
Dallas rapper Post Malone (White Iverson) releases what is assumingly the first single from his upcoming album
The wind travels where it wants, carrying with it the voices of where’s it’s been and may return. Post Malone’s been here before; somewhere between here and there waiting for where to next. The chain-smoking is not only constant, but a constant reminder that success cannot come fast enough. Sifting through the naysayers is a daily routine wherein positivity shines behind a cloak of well-played sarcasm. No one cares anyway; most of us to live day-to-day with no intent to be anywhere else tomorrow. Right now Post Malone is “in the cut” between rising fame and super-stardom. With all the distractions that come with living in the lime-light nowadays, sometimes it’s difficult to always stay on the up-and-up. But fuck all that noise; Post Malone just wants to go flex.
In the meanwhile he’s coming up with new schemes to stay on top of his game. Being the new kid in the industry is tough enough; with so-called “artists” coming and going every hour, it’s hard not to be one marked for 15-minutes of fame. That’s just how the game goes; most are passing sensations in it for the money out the deal then never heard from again. But coming in with a style unique to his own, and a series tracks that I personally can not get enough of, hears to hearing much more of Post Malone in the near future.
LISTEN to Post Malone’s “Go Flex” above and let me know what your favorite track of his is in the comments below.
Peace.
Bryson Tiller - Rambo (The Weeknd Remix)
Abel (The Weeknd) Tesfay remixes Bryson Tiller’s Rambo.
When Bryson Tiller dropped Rambo back in 2015, we saw a different side of the Louisville singer’s persona. While most of TRAPSOUL was, as the name suggests, smooth R&B/Soul mixed with trap style influences, on Rambo we got Tiller spitting actual bars about him being not the one to fuck with. “This is not a motherfuckin’ game, why you playin’ boy?” he asks. Fortunately for him, another well-known superstar and 6-year veteran of the game, The Weeknd, agreed with him. Around the first week in January this year, The Weeknd was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly punching a cop in face during a fight break-up. Now, The Weeknd isn’t someone new to controversy. The self-proclaimed villain of Toronto is well-known for his drug-filled and loose-women loving ballads. Unabashedly, he even has a song with ATL’s Future (DS2, Evol) titled “Low Life” on which he raps about just that. Back to Bryson Tiller’s Rambo: The Weeknd sings about his success amidst his arrest noting his performance at the Victoria Secret fashion show last year right off the back of his second studio release album Beauty behind the Madness and his Grammy win for the song “Earned It”. The infamous singer touches on his scuffle in that elevator claiming he had “too much tequila” but brushes it off citing that he needs to get back to work on killing the game. He’s put in a lot of work since House of Balloons surfaced online and has nearly become a pop culture icon in the R&B genre that he’s helped to resurrect. True enough, a co-sign from this man is a big deal. Shouts out to Bryson Tiller on “Rambo” and nods to The Weeknd on the remix. We’re definitely looking forward up upcoming projects from them both very soon.
