the fact that carlos couldn’t stop worrying about lidia and was still trying to know what he could do to save her a few minutes before he was shot  just proves how much he loved her, yeeeah he loved her that much !! he didn’t mind dying but  him not being able to help her and her dying made it even more devastating to him  and it probably must haunt him where he is,  “Where’s lidia”

A special appreciation to Blanca and Martiño’s amazing chemistry who actually kept this show alive, speaking of ships, for 5 seasons.  They’re on fire around each other. It’s touchable, even in their body language.  It’s electrifying.  The writers perfectly knew their power and in fact they made them real the OTP of the show for 4 seasons, before screwing everything up. Yet, their chemistry, how alive they are around each other is there and will always be there. The way Lidia rises around Carlos is a fact.  They’re the real Spanish golden duo, guys, Blanca and Martiño. 

Obviously I have no idea what they’re gonna do in part 2 and I couldn’t care any less, but we actually saw Lidia Aguilar as happy as ever with Carlos Cifuentes.  The smiles she had just for him were on our screen, the passion she felt for him. And obviously how madly in love they both were with each other. You need to show these things. And Lidia was never passionate with Francisco the way she was with Carlos. Even when they fought. I will always be grateful to this ship, for the emotions they gave me.  And to Blanca and Martiño for the great actors they are, for their chemistry, and for how true their relationship is.
