Favorite Eateries in Las Vegas

I had my fill of riding in some of the world’s fastest cars and driving in the same, but also had eaten some of the best food ever during my holiday. I love snack food and relaxed atmosphere and dabbling with the unknown and try different cuisines with one that sticks in my mind with clarity and I still have that taste tantalizing my taste buds. It was at the Cool breeze , with the most awesome Indian food.

If you wonder why this place stood out for me, it is simply because Mexican food and American BBQ food even pizzas, etc. are always everywhere and thus was it such a pleasant surprise and then eating the best Chaat. It is truly reminiscent of the time I spent in India and if you are in the Triangle do give them a visit. Finding an Indian eatery in the heart of Nevada on the Nellis Air Force Base was a surprise to say the least and the prices were just as great for a guy on a tight budget.

Other places that also deserve to be included are the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean eatery, Cleo, where I had the best tapas ever. Another Mexican fast food and restaurant with very good prices is the Saborr, where the best Chicken Fajitas are served. I need to tell you that while in the area, you could not go wrong either by visiting the best Hawaiian restaurant and another budget eatery, simply called Hawaiian Barbeque. Their service is excellent, the ambience great and still the lowest prices.

Excellent Cars and Sports in Vegas

Where you must have thought I went to Las Vegas for the bright lights, clubbing, casinos, and nightlife, I suppose I have surprised you with my choice of activities. Nevertheless, I adored every minute of it and yes, I did enjoy nightlife too, one of my other highlights include a driving experience at Richard Petty Driving Experience. It was awesome and the first time around I went for a couple of laps with a professional driver around the wheel.

People such as myself can opt for laps with a professional anywhere for three laps at a whopping 165 miles per hour. I did that on one day and was back again two days later where I took on the raceway by myself for the first time for eight laps. The very next day I was back again and this time I decided to take on thirty laps, with the maximum amount of laps being fifty.

They offer an amazing amount of different levels of riding from the ride-along, to self-driving in either a NASCAR or Indi racing. The NASCAR’s are 600-hp with fur-speed manual transmissions and as with other races drivers need a valid driver’s Licence and what is even more awesome is a push start option for those drivers who are not familiar with driving stick. I was in the fortunate position to have had previous knowledge about these driving lessons or ride-along before I went to Vegas or I would not have known that I had to make a reservation.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway

I love racing, going to the races and fast cars more than anything in the world and my dream to visit the Las Vegas Motor Speedway  was extraordinary. It is the only place I know off where you can buy yourself a real day at the races, by driving one of the best, fastest, and most expensive cars money could buy. I for one know that I can never in my life afford a Lamborghini Aventador yet I had an opportunity to get behind the wheel of one and actually drive it.

My day started by arriving at the raceway, where I was met by a host that assisted me with the registration and acceptance in the drivers application lounge. It is extraordinary from the moment when you set foot in there as I felt like a racecar driver; or rather, they set out to make you feel that thrill. Obviously, you need to possess a driver’s license, which I was proud to produce. After registration and acceptance, you get a quick training session. Depending on the car, you choose such as in my case where I wanted to drive the Lamborghini Aventador how to drive the car round the track, how to handle it correctly, and also going through all the needed safety procedures.

After the verbal instructions, I went for a 3D simulator session in order to get comfortable with the car’s control. Aspirant drivers get their experience in laser-scanned replicas of the track and when I felt a bump then I know the exact bump will be on the track on the same place.

Affordable Accommodation in Las Vegas

I spent the first two weeks of my stay at the Super 8 Las Vegas Nellis AFB, which was the cheapest accommodation I could get at the time. Keep in mind that I have never been to Vegas, but a friend of mine told me about it. Its location was superb as I was just 6.4 miles from the Natural History museum, much closer still to the Planetarium Museum and only 4.7 miles from Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is a large place with just over a hundred rooms, with an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary continental breakfast daily.

The second leg of my stay was equally affordable with week’s stay at the Best Western plus North Las Vegas, which was close to my pervious accommodations. I decided to move locations because where I stayed at the Super 8, a large group booked in and since they only needed one additional room, my thought were to go to a different hotel, with even less frills and fuss that the Super 8. I was right, it was even better, also with an outdoor pool, air-conditioned rooms, and great food, but also a gymnasium, which the other did not have.

The best time I had was my time at the Cannery Casino Hotel which was in the same budget price range that the previous hotels, but more than twice the size and more features and amenities. Apart from an outdoor pool, they also have a large and modern fitness center. The food was amazing and I was less than five miles from the famous Northern Strip.

Budget Las Vegas Break

Hi everybody, I am Harry and this my budget trip in Las Vegas that I want to share with you. I am like most guys, the average twenty-six year old with a great desire and that is to spend a few weeks in Las Vegas. Well, if you do not share my sentiments, you probably would find this blog boring. Yet if it is your desire to go on a Vegas trip while not breaking the bank, you will find this very useful and entertaining.

I left school, went on to college, and while many of my friends went on a year break directly after school to explore their newfound freedom, I went straight ahead and started working in our family business. After a year of working, I went off to college to earn a certificate in business management, with a promise from my father that if my grades were good, he would sponsor six weeks in Las Vegas.

This is what I would like to share with you and although my father paid for my trip, I still had to use some of my hard-earned money, as I worked holidays predominantly because I intended to have an awesome time in Las Vegas. This is something, which I worked towards, and a lot of planning went into it, as I am one of those people who do not waste money, but then again, I am still young and this trip would probably be the only one I have for many years to come.
