Let’s me and you dance

Like night and day

Back and forth

As you shine

Much like the sun

And I

Like the face of the moon

Reflect back what I see

Let us both

Remind the world

There is light

And it exists right here

Between us

As we dance

Back and forth

Almost circadian

In rhythm

Push and pull

In constant harmony

Yin and Yang

Different, yet the same

And as I learn

To move with you

I notice pleasure

After the pain

1, 2, 3

And then we start again

Let us dance

Like the sun and moon

Hand in hand

Eye to eye

And let the world

Look upon us

With amorous wonder

And I like the moon

Gather warmth from your shine

Let me be the rock

To your world

And let’s show them

Why we align

Without me

There’s no tide

Without you

There’s no time

Like the present

Let us dance

Right here

In this eternal moment

I am valuable simply because I am me. Simply because no one can be me for me. Simply because my words have meaning. Simply because my actions have impact. My value comes strictly from within. Simply because I too have a hand in shaping the world we all experience. And I tell it to myself daily, lest I see greatness and forget I am great.

I no longer wish to perform for love. I no longer wish to put on a happy face to make myself appear more lovable. I wish to entertain those who are curious about my reality and not in awe by an illusion they’ve crafted in their minds

The most liberating experience was learning that peace exists in the present moment. I don’t have to go searching for it. Rather I need to stop searching and connect with it right now
