I’m back! As an actor, sometimes I go away to film/act in things which is why I was away for so long. Now I am back and working on one Antoine Griezmann request, so please send in more requests! Also, happy birthday Paulo, everyone’s favourite drama kween. -C

Ignoring him all day had to be worth it, surely, you told yourself as his contact details rang your phone again, his name flashing on the screen, your fingers itching to answer it, to hear his voice, to wish him happy birthday.

The phone calls had started early this morning, as per tradition whenever you were spending special occasions apart, a text coming through shortly after, apologising for the call- presuming your were asleep because of time differences- promising to check next time and telling you to sleep well. The texts had continued throughout the day, detailing his actions- his trip to the airport, the wait whilst the Argentinian team tried to find him a different flight back to Turin, a wild description of the burger he had been treated to for his birthday lunch. He had gone quiet for a few hours, presumably flying, but now he was back- back in Italy, back in Turin, only mere meters away from you.
