Can’t be helped, he thought. Most of life is made up of compromises, anyway, isn’t it?

nobody wants to folie à deux anymore it's always communications and boundaries. whatever happened to the terrible self of two parts. whatever happened to beauty
if only I could choose the time I would expire.
Through me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.
Justice the founder of my fabric mov'd:
To rear me was the task of Power divine, Supremest Wisdom, and primeval Love.
Before me things create were none, save things
Eternal, and eternal I shall endure.
All hope abandon ye who enter here.
Dante Alighieri
“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever”
what would you do differently if you weren't afraid?
Life, if I take it out of fate’s hands to change it, would it still be mine?
"you were and will always be his grace"

You know that story of the Russian cosmonaut? So he goes up in this big spaceship, and he's got this portal window, and he's looking out of it, and he sees the curvature of the Earth for the first time. And all of a sudden this strange ticking... begins coming out of the dashboard.
But he can't find it. He can't stop it. It keeps going. Few hours into this, begins to feel like torture.
What's he gonna do? He's up in space. So the cosmonaut decides... the only way to save his sanity... is to fall in love with this sound.
"What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated"
surely it's mine in months time ✨
very few things that are worthwhile in life come without a cost
I'll wait somewhere between layers of paradise
You make a fine shrine in me
how can you give up on something I fought so hard for
