The average price of bottled water is around $1.50 and the recommended daily intake is around 3ltrs, so that adds up to $3 a day, right? Wrong? This is the economic cost of production, 10% for packaging 20% for sales and marketing 20% for distribution 30% retailer mark up The actual price of the water itself is only 0.001% but the environmental cost can be much more? Nga Kupuhau!!! Kia ora whanau, I was wondering if you've noticed how much the Maori language has evolved I was just listening when I noticed one of our kaumatua asking what was just said... Paapaho (Facebook) I cracked up laughing, it's amazing to see how one part there our language was nearly lost Thanks to those that help keep the language alive, it has evolved and learning new words (Nga Kupuhau) Rorohiko (Microsoft), Paetukutuku (webinar), Puninga (twitter), and Pupuri is right lol (Holden) Suppression and racism tried to keep it from us, we'll now look still going strong and adapting to the modern world "Wakarererangi"(airplane) I know there were no airplanes back in my ancestors days, Nga Kupuhau! A Bird In The Hand Is Better Than 2 In The Bush!!! Paguera the panther sat in his tree observing his home when he saw a monkey heading his way Oblivious the monkey wondered into Paguera's house to the panthers delight, "stealth mode" said the panther He crept up to the monkey without him noticing and before he could react the panther had his prize The monkey pleaded with the all powerful panther... oh mighty Paguera spare me, I have live a scarce life and it shows, I am lean, thin with no substance I will never be enough to satisfy your almighty appetite if you allow it I will go and return with my uncle is a far better meal then I.... Paguera thought about it "but you might not return" he said "no I promise I will return" said the monkey So Paguera let his stomach think for him, he trusted the monkey and let him go "same time same place" he said The monkey agreed a went on his way.... The next day Paguera woke up early, his stomach was aching from hunger and he was anxious to eat? From dawn right up until dusk the confused panther sat eagerly waiting for his promised dinner! It was about then Baloo came bungling into the panthers home and asked the panther how he was doing? Paguera told him all about his story and why he was sitting there looking into nowhere? 45 Days!!! We were challenged for 45 days to help 100 people while wearing our shirts and while on this kaupapa I found that a lot of people are scared, just to try anything new but if it excites them barriers are lifted, a new found confidence is had and action is taken because they've seen the life potentially theirs and want it! Finding Happiness!!! After a week of unemployment I've decided to find a part-time job to help with the bills allowing me time to run my online business and be able to put my worth into it, with no more 11hr job to take away half my day, I can now concentrate and get the real work done. Going All In!!! When I started my journey the belief in the system was at it's peak with so many testimonies and proof that it works I had all the confidence that this was going to be the road to my happiness, I've always been one to trust what I see to learn, there is always a pattern in what we do, so I thought and trying to implement a system with this only held me back I believe there is no right way to finding your happiness you just have to do what makes you happy and you find happiness, if you're happy being busy non-stop then be busy, if you want a life of financial freedom take on a side hustle, if you want more time to spend with your loved ones, reduce your hours of work, your happiness comes down to you, took me a while to figure out but I finally came to the conclusion I'm making moves in my life that are going to change the outcome of my future, I've realized that I can't help people if my life isn't happy, taking what power I have I'm ready to give my boss my Resignation!!! There will be some issues to sort out but my mind is set, I've been thinking about it for a while now and it has only gotten clearer as time goes on, this will come as a shock to some but expected by many, it's no lie I wanted this for a long time but knowing when was the key, determined I persevered with a life unhappy and struggling but now I'm ready Ready to let go of the burden holding me back, open to receive what is rightfully mine, I can feel the weight lift off my shoulders just from the thought, the reality is still to come, the feeling is freeing and overwhelming, I know what is intended for me now, happiness in abundance and a willingness to share Still confident this business will give me my happiness I'm ready to go all-in, if you're wondering how you can make your life happier have another read and take notes, I'll give you a clue... Spiritual Intervention!!! Read may trigger some so be prepared! I'm spiritual, not religious but I do believe they're one in the same and my morals are good, I value integrity and love, positive actions, but divinity was something I wasn't a strong believer in, not to say that I don't believe that Jesus wasn't, he was a man who practiced his religion with others, but I believe that's all he was I believe Rome had a lot to do with the Bibles construct and how it was put together to keep the people passive, Paganism was the religion then and it was making a scene, profits from another God, gospel contradicting Paganism, this was conflicting and arguing ensued The people started fighting, the Roman hierarchy was lost and something had to be done, so to keep the peace Constantine came up with an idea to design a religion for the people to follow as one and Christianity was born? It grew to unknown proportions taking over the world by storm, now it's the most practiced religion I know this is a sensitive subject but it's all there in black and white, has been for years, knowledge is free to find and we have used it for centuries, passed down from kaumatua to rangatahi for decades and thrived in life, and yes not all information is correct but I have read this from many sources, not just one so you're welcome to look it up? Being spiritual means I believe in a divine presence but being Moari our ancestors were the ones who watch over me and my family, my great grandmother, my sister, my cousins my family watch over me, our great grandmother taught us about our ancestors and how they watch over us. This is where we come from, who we are and how we live, spiritually we are happy but each to there own, you can believe in whatever you believe but when the colonists arrived in NZ is when we started practicing Christianity at the Marae, just saying, but our ancestors have been here for centuries, this is my belief. Short Changed!!! I was talking to a cousin and I was telling her how long I had been at my job, she asked me what they had given me for my long service! I told her after 15years of service I got a week of annual leave and $500 cash, she then told me what she had gotten after 5years at her job? $2000 for 5 years service makes my 15 years look very unappreciative, we basically do the same job just different companies in different countries, we get the same opportunity but it's your employer that decides how to pay you. I know half the reason I'm unhappy in my job was that it was the first job that I took available to me didn't actually look at the requirements and as a result, I'm not happy, I'm not following my purpose. I'm just going through the motions of daily living. Making myself angry because I'm unhappy, but I'm doing something about it, keeping that thought allows me to be strong and know that it can be possible! We are stronger then you think and can do anything we set our minds to, are you ready to live a happy life? Find the jobs that are worthy of you, they make out that you need all this stuff in order to apply, but really they need you, if you are nervous applying for work don't be you are a talented, skilled individual use that! Passionation!!! I've been labeled angry, on edge even almost gotten fired from my job for it but to me it's frustration. I hate that we are all stuck but accept it, I've learned that passion can be mistaken for anger too! I'm trying to focused on everything but my problem is to much passion, and when targets don't meet it frustrates me, I know people look at there job as a lifeline but if it's slowly killing you from within what's the point! Our feelings sometimes portray us wrongly, getting angry shows that you are passionate about what you do, I trying not to and dispel it through gratitude but it's still a work in progress and not quite there yet. I'm trying to find my purpose and it's not easy but my determination will find my reason, my why helped me this far but I need to find a calling, something so while I do that I will remain here in my job until it's revealed. The journey could be long, it could be short it's all up to you really I know how this is going t help me and nothing is going to stop me! The passion is plenty in supply and only the determined will understand what I mean, be passionate about your life, but if you ge angry just know I understand.
