it’s just so wild how niall levels up literally every single time he performs. his voice, his musicianship, everything. the man has never had an off performance—even that one time he had to leave the stage to literally puke mid-show he still sounded amazing and gave the performance his all. his work ethic is so admirable and he just gets better and better with every performance. he’s far and away one of the most consistently talented and hardest working people in the business and we’re so fucking lucky to get to witness it the way we do.

So why is it that every time Niall has a performance, I kind of roll my eyes at him singing this town/slow hands/black and white because I’d love to hear something else/different BUT THEN….then he starts singing, and his voice is just so LOVELY and soothing, and then he will throw in some note changes. The rasp in his voice picks up. He sounds perfect. The lyrics start coming alive even more because they are so front and center. And then I’m crying? And then I’m fully immersed and cannot get over how he sounds?

And that With or Without You cover? Big time tears. Incredible. He is SO TALENTED.
