NHL hockey survey : how does one comes to support some idiots in particular

Hi everyone!

I was looking for some hockey content on tumblr the other day and one thing leading to another, it just hit me how much the hockey content available on tumblr has changed over year. I’ve been on tumblr since 2011 and following (on and off) the NHL since 2013 and I’ve had the occasion to notice some changes here. Obviously I’m biased by my preferences and other stuff but I know there is a logic somewhere.

The main goal of this survey is to see which connections can be made between the ways people discovered the NHL (family, tumblr, fiction, etc…), where they live (close to an NHL team, in Europe, etc…), the year they started following NHL hockey and which team they follow now.

I’m no statistician (I did pass my statistics class to get my engineer degree though) but I love stats and numbers and things fandom related, so, I’m sure there will be something to do with the data.

This shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes to complete. Every reblog is appreciated so this can reach as many people as possible. Thank you for your time!

get on twitter and start tweeting at the appropriate people

hit up reporters, and not just sports reporters

use appropriate language.  Mitchell Miller harassed and assaulted his victim and it was racially motivated.  Do not let them downplay his actions as “bullying”

basically make a lot of noise and fuss that the NHL and Coyotes can’t ignore

if anyone who knows more about this/has experience actually utilizing social media to apply pressure has anything to add please do
