[Trevor]’s been a stud for us all year and continues to be, through game one. And it’s been a lot of fun.

You sort of grew up together in Anaheim. I’m sure you envisioned being in the playoffs together. I don’t know if you envisioned it with your second team each.

Yeah, definitely. Obviously it’s both of our first times here. It’s an awesome experience and it’s real cool to be able to go through it together. In saying that, there’s a lot of guys in this room I became real close with over the past three years as well. So great group, and Z’s a great addition.

When he got traded here, how exciting was it for you personally, and to get to tell the whole group what they’re getting with him?

Yeah, super exciting. I mean, I found out this summer. It was a pretty quick turnaround. I’m pretty sure you guys all saw the same thing. It was ‘Z on the trade block’ and then it was ‘hearing it could be as soon as this week’ and then it was ‘Z to Philly’ in the span of what felt like an hour to be honest with you. And then I texted him ‘hey, is this true?’ And then he confirmed it. Obviously, super hyped up. I got a few phone calls from the guys asking ‘what are we getting with him?’ Only good things and I think everyone has seen firsthand throughout the yeah kinda what he can bring to a team and organization.

Is his personality the same now as it was back then, when you guys came into the league together?

Yeah. I would say so. Cause Z’s—he’s a pretty free-spirited guy obviously, but just. Lightens up a locker room and he's great. Great to be around. Great guy to have.
