I haven't been here in ages I know but hear me out. Nia is in a new bestbuy commercial and it is really cool. It is a interactive commercial so you get to choose how the commercial goes.

I know I haven’t posted for some time but this was something I wanted to share. Not just about Nia but a messed up situation. Nia happens to be part of it. So as some of you may know Nia is a “dotegirl” dote is an online shopping company that promotes their stuff mainly through influence such as Nia, Kalani, Emma Chamberlain ect. Dote orgnises a lot of tips with their girls like the trip Nia, Brooke and Paige were on to Hawaii was organised by dote. So dote has always been known for mainly promoting super skinny white girls (nothing wrong with skinny white girls) but diversity is not their thing. So recently they organised a trip to Coachella with a lot of influencers Nia being one of them. So now some of the girls that went on that trip have spoken out about some shady stuff going on. Those girls were Danielle Perkins, vereena Sayeed and Keisha. So what they explained is that the 3 of them along with Nia, Lily Chee and some other girls were made to sleep on the other side of the house they were staying in on couches. While the other girls got to sleep on comfortable beds. So what did all the girls that slept on couches have in common? They were ALL people of colour. All the girls who got beds were not. According to Danielle a lot of other stuff happened beyond just the bed situation and she was even crying. Apparently this wasn’t the first time some shady stuff happened to influencers of colour on dote trips. I just want you guys to realise how messed up this stuff is. They SEGREGATED the house like it was 1930. I am happy some of them spoke out about this and I hope Nia will too. Danielle said that they all were disturbed about the situation and how they were treated. Already having been in these type of situation I think it is important for Nia to speak up. This is no different than the way she was treated on dance moms. I know her and Holly don’t like causing “drama” but this situation is bigger than them. Kalani was there too but I don’t expect any of the white influencers to speak up or even care.

The board for Emmy nomination (or whatever they are called) selects 12 Emmy nominees (for each category) that they will eventualy narrow down to the final 6. So Nia is now in the running to be in the final 6 nominees. So now she is listed as a nominee on the Emmy website but that could change.
