Although yesterday was full of excitement for the solar eclipse, it marked one month since you've been gone. The biggest phenomenon to happen to our lives. You were taken from us too soon. I would give up anything to have you back, to have this pain relieved from everyone. I pray that one day the gratitude in my heart for all the moments we shared will eventually eclipse all of the anger, pain, and sadness for all of the moments that were taken away. There were so many things that I had planned for us, but it'll have to be put on hold until it's my time to ride up there with you. Trying to rebuild a life without you has been difficult, but I feel better knowing that you are at peace with Lola now. I promise to take this pain of missing you and burn it as fuel to keep pulling forward, to keep our family close, and to keep everyone's head up. You worked so hard while you were here.
