Oh, there’s a lot of things Murdoc should beware of, actually... The police, pirates, bounty hunters, ex-friends turned to enemies, and zombies to name a few.

Cattail: Is your character at peace with themself? Why or why not?

Hmm, very good question... To be honest, Murdoc is such an eccentric individual that it’s really hard to tell what exactly is going on in that mind of his. He could very well appear to be at peace and content with himself, while in reality he’s actually not. Or it could the opposite! Personally, I’d say that Murdoc may have deluded himself into believing he’s at peace, but he’s actually hiding a lot of issues and problems that he refuses to bring up and solve.

Laurel: If your character could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

I’d say he’d definitely want to be remembered as the leader and bassist of what he believes to be “the world’s greatest band”. Haha, that’s a pretty lofty thing to be remembered for, but in Murdoc’s eyes, he’s not really asking for much.

Quince: One temptation your character has had.

Oh, geez... That’s hard to think of, only because he’s had so many temptations in his life. If I could pick just one out of a handful, there was the temptation and sexual attraction he had for 2D’s girlfriend at the time, Paula Cracker. Basically... He wound up giving in and having sex with her in the bathroom at Kong Studios, eventually being discovered by Russel and getting beaten up (which he totally deserved). It’s funny that after all of that, he still goes ahead and calls her a rubbish guitarist...

Umbrella sage: Where does your character consider home?

That’s a good question, since Murdoc’s home seems to change all the time. First there was Kong Studios and the Winnebago he slept in before he set the place on fire... Then, there was Plastic Beach which he also wound up abandoning, and now there’s the house on Wobble Street that the group has apparently been evicted from... If anything, I’d say that Murdoc can consider anyplace a home so long as it’s got a bed and lives up to his very specific standards.

Edelweiss: Describe a time your character has had to be brave.

One situation I can think of is in the music video for Stylo. What initially started off as just a drive along the highway eventually turned into a car chase with Bruce Willis after him and shooting a gun at the car. Not only that, but Murdoc’s feared enemy, the Boogeyman, also makes an appearance. So, he’s essentially being chased by a bounty hunter Bruce Willis firing at him and a scary, paranormal entity also following him. ...That probably sounds like a crazy fever dream or something, now that I think about it... But throughout the video, Murdoc is able to stay as collected as possible when making his getaway, even going so far as to run the car he’s driving off a cliff in order to escape everything that’s chasing him.

I don’t think Murdoc is the kind of guy to have wedding invitations... But, ignoring that, he’d probably have them printed on black paper written in white ink. They would probably be very, very direct. Something like, “Hello. You are invited to the wedding of Murdoc Niccals and ___________. Bring gifts. Bring alcohol. Dress however you want.” Something like that...

♜ Interior decorating aesthetic

Murdoc’s aesthetic interior decorating-wise is really all over the place. On one end, he has a taste for things that are high quality and can’t stand to live in a place with things that don’t meet his standards, but at the same time he doesn’t appear to mind living in places that are basically cluttered messes. If anything, I’d probably relate his design aesthetic to his music aesthetic, which is metal and hard rock. If he could decorate a small apartment, it’d have things like a bed with Egyptian silk sheets, leather chairs, mounted animal trophies, etc. Basically, it would look like an interior designer’s worst nightmare.

Oh god, a party thrown by Murdoc would definitely be a party to remember, honestly. Being the eccentric person that he is, I think the better question is what wouldn’t be going on at a party thrown by him? He’d have dancers, musical guests, a fountain that’s filled with tequila, a seance to contact the dead, giant dartboards, drag racing, a swimming pool filled with exotic fish, and... well, you probably get where I’m going with this.

The strange man ahead of her carrying an unfamiliar instrument caught her eye immediately. Korra had always been a curious one and she had never been shy when it came to general inquiries. So, when she realised the stranger was indeed alone, she crossed the road quickly and fell into pace with him.

“Hi, I’m sorry if this sounds kinda weird but I was just wondering what that is,” She said, pointing at the instrument. It looked like a pipa but she wasn’t entirely sure… the only way she would find out was if she asked, right?

Of course, it was definitely a strange question to ask right in the middle of district alpha but she had done weirder and been through weirder so… it’d be alright… right?

Murdoc found himself waking up later than usual in his little hut located in District Alpha. Normally he was up first thing in the morning and would spend essentially the entirety of his day out of the district he was assigned to. However, he had had a poor night's sleep, so he wound up waking well past the afternoon. It didn't bother him too much, but it meant that he had less time to wander around the city and take his mind off of things. With his banjo lazily held in one of his hands, the bassist walked through the underground district and was on his way to the surface when a girl that looked like she was a teenager had approached him and decided to walk with him.

The girl had inquired about Murdoc's instrument, to which the man gave the girl a puzzled look. Had she really never seen a banjo before? On any other day, Murdoc would have probably told the girl to go away and leave him alone, but he was feeling particularly tired and exhausted from sleeping in, not bothering to waste his energy on the stranger. He continued walking, wanting to leave the underground district as soon as he could, but he held his instrument in both hands and gave it a strum, looking at the girl afterwards.

"Wot, you mean me banjo? ... You've nevah seen a banjo before, is that it? I swear, fuckin' kids these days..."

His voice trailed off at the end, realizing that he was sounding like an angry old man. ...Although, that description wasn't exactly too far off... He gave the instrument a few more strums, secretly glad to know that his practice with his banjo yielded some positive results. It certainly wasn't a bass, but it would at least have to do for the moment.
