I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Jackson a few weeks ago in New York. The images became a dialogue between us, two hours of conversation about everything from meeting in Morocco to the new music he's been working on in the city. His song Soft Rock lingered in the background, inspiring much of the tension within these photographs.
