Oh yeah, they’re great to watch. I mean, pretty much all the teams are, except the Cannons. But even they’re kinda’ fun to watch, in that wince-worthy sort of way. [he chuckles, nodding] I’m kinda’ the same, I’m afraid. I just get too into it. I used to commentate for Hogwarts games, and it was pretty obvious who I was rooting for. But it’s about having fun, right? Might as well toss yourself fully into the experience; Quidditch isn’t really a sport that you can casually follow.
If I wanted to watch horrible Quidditch, I’d go find some kids just learning to ride. Same experience, right? [He rolled his eyes.] I’d say I don’t understand rivalries, but I can’t lie that much. And I’d agree, although perhaps someone who makes it their whole life isn’t the best judge of when it works for casuals.
