Well, these are finally finished, no thanks to my own procrastination. But I’m proud of the work I put into these and the amount that I ended up learning.

The Third Shard of the Fragmented Heart

I had a lot of fun with this one overall. 

The shard itself didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted it, and even this the composition might’ve worked just as well without it, but I was determined to stick with the plan. The color of the shard and the refraction of the light around it was tough to wrap my head around, I’ll have to come back to work at it some more.

The Second Shard of the Fragmented Heart

The second piece in my Fragmented Heart series. 

With this one, I wanted to work on two opposing sources of light; the moon, and the crystal. For the most part, I accomplished what I was looking to achieve, there’s always things I’d go back and work on, but I try and remember “Finished not Perfect” as much as I can so I can apply what I’ve learned elsewhere

The first in a series I'm currently working on called "The Fragmented Heart". Each piece from the series is my own attempt at pushing my ability and knowledge that little bit further, seeing just what I can accomplish.
