Video shows Maryland cops REPEATEDLY pepper spray 15-year-old honor roll student.

5 ft 105 lbs girl, whose name has not been officially released yet, was brutalized by Hagerstown police after she on her bike was hit by a car, but refused medical assistance. 

Her family’s attorney says that when police arrived, they grabbed the little girl, lifted her hands above her head and slammed her face into a wall.

“They slammed her against a wall, arrested her for refusing treatment, maced her 4 times in the police car while handcuffed, and took her to the police station instead of the hospital.”

She was put in the car, which is when a bystander began filming the incident. The video shows the 15-year-old with her hands handcuffed behind her back kicking at the police car door and later a cop is heard saying: “Put your feet in, or you’re going to get sprayed!” Officer proceeds to pepper spray her a few times. 

The girl can be heard screaming: “I can’t breathe!”

The girl was only taken to hospital when she was released to her parents. 

Three hours after being pepper sprayed she was finally able to wash her eyes.

She is now charged with disorderly conduct, two counts of second-degree assault, possession of marijuana and failure to obey a traffic device.

i wasn’t gonna make this post a big of a deal but i was thinking and… please pay attention to brazil. 

most cities are either going back to “normal” (re-opening business, public transportation, parks/beaches) or, like são paulo and rio, they never went fully quarantined. those are also the most dense cities in brazil, and… the cities with the most cases. not to mention that brazil is one of the countries that is doing the least amount of tests in the population. so, 600k is not even half of it.

we are reaching 30 days without a health minister because the last two were fired directly by the president, when they were doing according to what the world health org said.

What just happened on CNN? Im at work and so wasn’t somewhere I could watch

Sure I’ll sum up.

So there was a very good peaceful protest by.... Lafayette Park? Right outside the White House. They were chanting, they had multiple reporters in the crowd, it was fucking CHILL, people were waiting for Trump to do a speech in the Rose Garden.

Then, out of nowhere, truly NOWHERE, the cops closed in from three directions and threw gas into the crowd. They used rubber bullets on the crowd IMMEDIATELY. One dude told the reporter “They don’t care about news, move.” They drove out the totally fucking peaceful, pre-curfew protestors.

They moved them all out, and Trump started speaking, and you could hear the fucking gas going off over his speech. CNN fucking did a splitscreen to show the peopple being shoved back as the motherfucker stood up there and said he would protect our rights and would mobilize the military against people.

Then back to the reporters, and everyone was forced further and further away. One woman on a bike told the reporter “They are getting the water cannons ready, you wanna move.”

TURNS OUT.

ALL OF THIS.

WAS BECAUSE TRUMP WANTED A PHOTO OP AT THE CHURCH ACROSS THE STREET. HE WANTED THEM OUT OF THE WAY SO HE COULD STAND WITH A BIBLE IN FRONT OF A CHURCH.

Even CNN is calling him a dictator, at 7PM.

Then the Illinois governor came out and called him a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic failure.

ETA: OH AND AFTER THE FACT one of the CNN ppl said that the cops claimed they gave three warnings to the crowd to disperse. There were reporters literally in the crowd, and didn’t mention hearing anything along those lines and where as shocked as anyone when the crowd was forced to move. So they’re fucking lying.

That is SO weird. If you hadn’t pointed it out, I probably wouldn’t even have noticed. It’s strange that even Caste Heaven, which is reasonably popular in Japan, is nowhere to be seen in the rankings. (The manga’s ongoing, there’s drama CDs, merch, an online game etc. so idk what’s going on?)

I did a little digging & here’s what I found:

Udou (Gosan de Fukou na Koibanashi) was ranked 16th in the Best Uke category in 2019.

Before that in 2018, Red Theatre was #17 in the Best Manga ranking.

Back in 2017, Caste Heaven Vol.02 was on the Best Series list (#13).

Owaranai Fukou no Tsuite no Hanashi finished #11 in the Best Manga category in 2016, plus Udou made the Best Uke list again.

It’s not like sensei has never got an award or that she hasn’t won one in recent years. But it’s pretty lower down the list.
