I saw you mentioned that Dietfried made dirty jokes about Gil & Violet, when does he make those jokes and which chapters? :^

Volume 2, chapter 13! Dietfried asks if Gil had slept with Violet after she’d just found out that he was alive, and that’s how Gil finds out that she had found out, lol.

This whole exchange would be a lot funnier if Dietfried weren’t still referring to Violet as a thing rather than a person at that point in time.

Could you elaborate more on Claudia thinking Dietfried is hot? Also, in the anime i thought cattleya was with claudia not benedict! unless im getting it wrong lol

Hiii, I’m not quite sure what else I can say, just that he literally thinks Dietfried is “a beauty” (quote from the novel).

I think Cattleya ain’t with anyone in the anime as far as we saw, but considering the novel’s endgame couples, we’re probably supposed to think that she and Benedict got together at some point.

When you meet Edward Elric he gives off the impression that he's the short-tempered hot-headed "violence is the answer to all life's questions" kind of protagonist, and it's in fact incredible character craft that he's actually the character who ends the series with a negative-3 kill count.

I love that most of your asks have featured Dietfried recently 😭😂 and maybe Gil, clearly the people have a favorite

I mean, most people have only watched the anime, and the anime did do a wonderful job of completely reverting their roles and portraying Dietfried as the caring and self-sacrificing brother while Gil was the piece of shit, lol.

I haven’t yet come across a single novel reader who likes Dietfried more than Gil, though. 😂

OH GIRL I have been thinking about the fact that dietfrieds and Gilberts parents maybe being related for YEARS (2) and I also never see anyone ever mention it too. (So glad you also noticed bc I NEVER see anyone talking abt that)

I really think the possibilies are HIGH that these two are related since it was not uncommon at all to marry your cousins back in the day and in some places in the world its still normal.
