The keys gave way under her fingertips as her soul melded with the notes in the air, creating a heartbroken melody. Alone at the rickety old instrument, her head bent with the grief of her emotions as dancing touches across the cold keys. She could have kept playing all night if this wasn’t inside her mental labyrinth and she could remember what it was like to play the piano, for she hadn’t touched an instrument in years and never wanted to again.
