Cards in Progress
I knew that the cards would take the longest time out of any element on the cake, and that they would last the longest, so I started on them first. I started by making and rolling out the pastillage base, then cutting each card to size. After replicating the designs on the cards, I then began the painstaking process of painting each one with food coloring.
