Pamplona was pretty magical. Pintxos and rainbows – all you need in life.
The rest of Paris. From gardens to canals, flea markets to building facades, the city had a lot of eye candy. It's a place that embraces its splendor, flaunting it whenever it can. All in all, a great first visit that's got me wondering when the next time will be.
Midnight in Paris.
La Reina Sofía – an impressive building, and the home of the Guernica by Picasso.
Totally slacked on updating last week. Hope these shots make up for it. First four – in Mallorca at Cala Santanyí, Cala Llombards and Es Pontas. My friend got stung by a jellyfish after climbing that rock. We worried for a bit, but ultimately decided it was just a character-building experience.
Last two pics were snapped at the Alcazar in Sevilla, where I met the feral cat (below).
I'm a kitty kat, and I meowmeowmeow and I meowmeowmeow. (This thing was actually pretty fierce tho.)
Bath in the Alcazar in Sevilla. Unfortunately no longer in use.
Tenerife has some of the most dynamic geography I've ever encountered, and, of course, its own unique flavor of street art.
A bit of gray in Tenerife.
"What are you fishing for?"
"Whatever feels like biting."
Tenerife – Playa de las Teresitas. Saw some people bathing nude and I didn't even make a big deal out of it... So cultured.
Help me get employed this summer!
Yo guys, sorry for no picture in this post – it'll be up later. For now, I'm going to ask that you please (pretty please, with a cherry on top) go to this link and vote for my video in the quest for the #BSJiA with jackwills-usa! Search by "Nico" or "Tufts" or look for my picture, where I'm wearing red pants and a white shirt. http://www.jackwills.com/en-us/features/best-summer-job/vote/
Went to Porto for a few days without a computer. Here are some things I saw.
Things to do in the city:
Try a francesinha, even if you're pretty certain you won't like it
Bike on the street from the São Bento area to the beach, and get lot lost on the trails on the way back
Check out a wine cave (seller) on the South shore of the city
The English conversation class my friend and I lead for Spanish students at the UAM. We're all gonna go clubbing and it's gonna be sick.
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid – looking pretty good today.
Some street cred in an upper-class neighborhood.
