every season of ted lasso has shown us that ted and rebecca are quite literally connected through outside forces of their own control.

season one has ted signing his divorce papers on the day that was meant to be rebecca and rupert’s anniversary.

season two reveals to the audience they both experienced life altering traumatic experiences on the same day, at the exact same time.

i think season three is going to show the audience that they’d almost crossed paths at some point before either of them had gotten married and had missed one another by mere seconds, further driving home the point that these two characters are soulmates who found one another at the exact right time.
