( she’s looking for a specific page… something on trends of hysteresis… ) so she only spares a moments glance to her brother, who, in her opinion, looks like an actual zombie. natalie pulls a mug ––– three times broken and three times glued back together ––– to her lips and hums softly in her uniquely judgemental way.
nicolas sluggishly dragged his ripped slipper-covered feet across the apartment; you could tell he wasn’t fully awake quite yet as one of his eyes was still shut and his hair was going in one too many directions than usual. he immediately peered over at his sister when she spoke –– trying his absolute hardest to give her the dirtiest look he could possibly manifest in the current state he was in. ‘ oh yeah, actually, i have been signed. i don’t know if you’ve heard of it but, it’s called the agency of natalie shutting the hell up. it’s very new, you should look into it. ’ nico slowly but surely made he way over to her, taking a peek into the pan that she was cooking in and then facing her with a sheepish smirk on his face.
hello ! it’s me late af but i just got home so i’m going to throw together this Ugly intro post so we can work on our plots and start the party ! nico is kinda complicated so this might be all over the place , i’m sorry .. i will make a pretty bio page eventually though !
( DYLAN O'BRIEN / MUSE D / CISMALE. ) ❝ ––– nicolas scott is a twenty-three year old bartender at bunny’s bar from manhattan. he must love 8teen by khalid, because they’re always playing it. they’re totally judicious & diligent, but some people find them to be dogmatic & secretive. they’re always carrying around a different novel under his arm and a cigarette between his fingertips, and you can tell that it’s them because of his messy hair. he is his own worst enemy —a walking contradiction. still struggling to find real self, he drowns himself in a million different worlds in order to find some clarity. you may think you have finally lost him, until you find he’s escaped to the fire escape, reading someone else’s life story as the sun rises. because of his underlying knowledge he feels everything so deeply, yet has the toughest exterior that no one can seem to break through. a few of of his only constants being a sandalwood aroma emanating off of his simple black and white wardrobe and a mediocre joke slipping through his lips to mask his emotions. recognized to some as the smartest person they know and others as their biggest critic. ( b. est. she & her. )
well i could talk forever about him if i wanted to so i’m going to keep this as simple as possible and the rest will be on his biography page eventually !
as for his background, his family was more on the poor side growing up. they were not a privileged family in any way but there was nothing wrong with that. aside with natalie, he has two other siblings --an older brother who moved as far away as he could and a younger sister who still lives with their parents.
nico is such a fucking nerd it’s annoying. he was not always like this, though. growing up he was ‘ popular ‘ ig u could say. in hs, he was on the baseball team. he was really really good at it and although he likes to tell people he never went to college because he could not afford it and did not want to burn the family / take out loans and all that .. he actually was offered scholarships from multiple universities asking him to attend their school and play baseball for their team. he declined all of them. and, he never told anyone .. he simply just did not want to go to college.
so, is he this jock ? or nerd ? or outcast ? he doesn’t have a clue. he has no idea who he is. he struggles with this a lot. if nico isn’t sleeping .. he’s always reading. he’ll read during a conversation you’re having w him and someone still be engaged in it. he’ll read while he’s working at bunny’s bar. it’s just his way of coping with his confusing life -- in order to understand himself, he likes to read about everyone else’s lives.
since he reads so much, he’s very smart. kind of like the annoying af smart tho .. like spitting facts like spencer reid in which no one gives a fuck but he keeps rambling on for as long as he can. he’s book smart and common sense smart so if you say something stupid , catch him rolling his eyes to the back of his head. for sure , he’ll tell you you’re dumb as fuck like he’s opinionated and out spoken just as much as he is quiet .. he’s all over the place. it does comes in handy when he’s working since he’s kind of a perfectionist and loves his job .. esp when drunk ass people are spilling their feelings at 3am and it makes him feel less messed up.
Ok but listen nico be stupid, too. like he will make wrong decisions even when he knows it’s wrong just because he can. he also holds in too many secrets and does not share how he’s feeling . u can make the dude cry himself to sleep but will ignore the problem like it was nothing and that’s very stupid of him as well ..
he has some #Good moments. nico will make his weird dad jokes every now and then to keep a light mood within the group bc being too serious all the time makes him anxious. and, his biggest habit , it’s a bad habit . but he never sleeps. he’ll get home from work at like 4 and read until the sun rises and then sleep for like 4 hours to make up for it. he’s a mess.
that was longer than i expected it to be, i apologize :) anyway let’s plot our connections out to make me the happiest person ever ! i must warn u i’m the worst at thinking up plots so bare w me :/
